Tyler Perry is just like fine wine, he gets better and better with time. This movie was both a tear jerker and a "hurt your side" from laughter movie. It had soooo many messages for the viewer. The soundtracks from the movie just stay in your head and the overal rating for me is off the chart. Tyler is really setting a new bar for movie writers/producers. This is a typical example of someone doing what God has ordained them to do. Tyler you are truly gifted!!! I loved the movie and it will forever me one of my favorites of all times.... Please keep Madea in your movies....she just brings back the memories of me being young and having relatives that act that way. Thanks Tyler!!!

I thought this movie was right on time. Many people thought that because of the awesome star power in the movie, the movie would flop. The movie starts with high spirits and flows with the same throughout. Yes, there are clips in the movie where the message is clear and really highlight the meaning of life across your face. I thoroughly enjoyed the acting. Humor was good for the most part. The young girl did an awesome job of pulling emotion from the audience. Bathtub scene, hilarious! However, the title and storyline were a mismatch. The movie was unrealistic. This movie was perfect in emphasizing the meaning of family and the will to survive. The 16 year old sister that was fighting to take care of her younger brothers stole the show!!! The anger she displayed was true to life. Her verenability near the end, but yet pleading with her aunt to allow them to stay, showed yet another layer of perfect sacrafice to her younger brothers. The Comedy for me was just right. I would say about 30% was comical and the rest was drama. It should that the aunt, like other family members didn't know how to love or receive love. All of the characters were perfect for this movie. I love me some Gladys Knight and Mary J. Bleige, they tore it UP!!!

This was as awesome movie, the first half I laughed so hard and then by the end of the movie I was crying, smiling, and feeled with joy. That is what I call keeping it real. This movie made me laugh and cry and relate to some subject matters that is real and true. Tyler knows the right moment to be funny and the right moment to give you something to think about. I'm glad Adam took a break from CSI Miami to show how much of an actor he truly is. And for the Christian folks I know it's going to be hard for you to contain yourself and not shout all over the place. The choir scene will make you want to get real spiritual.

I enjoyed the movie. I am a Tyler Perry fan from the very beginning of his career with all the gospel plays. I enjoyed all of the actors and actresses of the film. It was a great plot with comedy and serious issues.

I think Tyler's writing has developed over the years. The writng and the acting were very good. While the movie was pretty predictable, it was still good.. I laughed, I cried, I sang, I patted my foot and said AMEN!!

Tyler Perry is a man that cuts to the core of a situation and finds his way to hope and caring...
He chose the best songtresses of all time, that alone makes it a must see. Some of his cast have not gaced the big screen and he maximized their talents.
He is in my opinion "brilliant". He is true to himself and what he knows. "I can do bad" will lift spirits and mend hearts.
