It took almost the entire movie time for the plot to turn happy. I thought it would be another great, cheerful TP film, but it wasn't. It was a movie about a woman who finally realizes she can be loved and love others, and not be so selfish. Madea shows up, but not nearly enough for this viewer. It is an okay movie which should have been better.

This was yet another great movie from Tyler Perry. The music was amazing and had you ready to dance from the beginning. The plot was heartfelt and Taraji did a wonderful job portraying her character. I will always love Madea and the comic relief she provides! All in all, great movie, would recommend to all....just remember to bring some tissues!

This movie was wonderful because of the music...it had you nodding and dancing right from the beginning...plus all the stars in the movie made you sit up and pay attention to see if they can really act as well as they can sing....plus OMG, i love Tyler Perry and he is fine, but the real eye candies of this movie are brian white becuase he is half naked all the time and adam rodriguez who starts off scruffy and ends up drop down sexy...it was all you could do to pay attention to the plot and message of the film.....overall it was a good film with great acting, Taraji henson, and great music... a must see!

I absolutely loved this movie!! it was captivating, and motivating all at the same time!! I have always loved Tyler Perry's work I believe he is very talented. The only reason I did not give the movie 5 stars was because I felt the ending could have been a little more insightful. Other than that very minor setback it was AWESOME!

I really enjoyed this movie!! Mr. Perry has always done an excellent job w/ all his movies thus far, however it is proven that they get better each time!! I loved this movie & I think Mr. Perry is great for allowing us to be blessed w/ productions that are sooo close to home. I'm always touched and feel in some way that I can relate to each movie. The movie was EX-CEL-LENT!!!! Having watched the play plenty of times and knowing the story line did not deter at all from the movie. The cast he selected was wonderful and blended well together. You felt the emotion with the characters. I must say I even cried with them. All in all, this is one of the best movies Mr. Perry has put out. This movie was excellent and I will go back to see it one more time. Tyler truly hit home with this one, and I like how Madea although, a little crazy always knows what to say to bring you back to reality.
Congratulations Tyler you did a wonderful job as we all knew you would. I love the cast of this one, Taraji Henson and Adam Rodriguez have great on screen chemistry and I would love to see them in another movie together. (Hint, Hint) That scene stealing kiss was awesome.

This movie moved me I laughed and cried it was so good and Taraji was excellent in her performance. I've enjoyed all of Tyler's movies but this movie really touched me.
