The content that Tyler Perry bases his movies on touches people at the very heart of life's issues - both good and bad. His heart for the people causes you to fall in love with his work both on stage and on film. This movie to me was the best combination of the stage play and an adaptation for film. You could actually believe in the characters and what they are facing. Hollywood may not ever recognize him for his talent or his work but we the people speak loudly for him. At the end of the day, if you can produce something that can speak to where someone is in life - facing tragedy and triumph, you've served a greater purpose and neither the Academy or Hollywood can trump that with any award or accolade.

I have been a Tyler Perry fan since I first saw the Madea's Family Renuion play bout 5 years ago and in my opinion he continues to out do himself. From the beginning with the play I Can Do Bad All By Myself, each play and each movie is always better than the last. Just when you think "oh, that was the most awesome Perry production that I've seen" the next one comes out and blows that one out of the water. This movie was just awesome. There were moments that I cried, and moments that I laughed so hard that it made me cry. There is always a spiritual message in Tyler's plays and movies. He took me to church and opened my eyes. Just an amazing movie.
