Tyler has done it again! This time he's managed to incorporate the meaningful singing element from his plays to the big screen. Madea and the old man characters were in rare form. Tyler's movies continue to get better and better in my opinion. I didn't think he'd be able to top the raw emotions portrayed in "The family That Preys", but he must have witnessed some of the most horrifying events to be able to convey them so clearly, to say the least. Taraji P. Henson.......... what can one say? Beautiful, funny, terrific actress!!! This movie will definitely be a part of my DVD collection as soon as it's released!!!

I love all of Tyler's work. This movie had me crying, laughing and shouting. He really hits home with so many of his movies and people do relate because we all know of folks in these situations and going through. God is mentioned in all of his movies and this world could use more of these values that so many of us over 40 was taught as children. The new generation of adults, young adults and children are not getting these values from home.

The spiritual overtones were very effective and had the theater "going to church". Don't miss this one, it's a theater movie you won't want to wait for on DVD unless you saw it in the theater! This movie was just wonderful and heartwarming. A good movie spans all of the emotions and this one did just that. I laughed, cried, became angry and generally just felt good and even changed in some respect. The message was plain and clear. Thank God for Tyler Perry and Madea!
