I loved "I Can Do Bad All By Myself"! The main reason that I liked it so much was because even though it didn't follow the stage play it still had an excellent storyline. Taraji P. This movie was great! It is what I come to expect from Mr. Perry. It was very well written. It of course had an all-star cast and packed a powerful message. It dealt with issues we have all experienced in one form or another. I really enjoyed the musical performances, and Glady Knight is always the best! Where can I buy some of those beautiful dresses the cast wore? I definitely will recommend this movie to all my friends and family and I can't wait to go see it again. Kudos to you Tyler Perry!

Very good movie. Alot of funny parts that had the crowd laughing at the same time. Tyler never lets me down with the sexy male actors in the movie. lol. But over all...this is a must buy when it comes out on DVD. I love the life lessons that is hidden in the story. By the way the scene from her singing in the kitchen....reminded me of a scene that was from the color purple. This film was spectacular. This was the best acting that I have seen from Taraji. I cried, laughed and learned. This movie made me reflect on the power of women and the effect of true love. I would recommend this movie to everyone I know. Run don't walk to see this film! Congratulations Tyler on a wonderful job. As an Atlanta resident, I was very impressed that the movie was shot here at Tyler Perry Studios.
