This movie is the best one yet> I love all of Tyler Perry's movies but I think this one is the best thus far. It was outrageously funny in the begining and a emotional and uplifting life story in the end. Traji and Mary J.could'nt have done a better job. I would have liked to have seen more Madea but the dose I got worked for me.. Excellent job Tyler! I can't wait to see what you come out with next!!!!!

This was a great movie, for there are opinions floating around that are outrageous. Tyler brings real life experiences to the big screen from the minority perspective and does it with out the unnecessary nudity, profanities and raunchiness that other directors fill their movies with while under the impression of portraying minorities. I love and will see it again today.

This was a very thought provoking, soul-searching movie with great actors. You find yourself experiencing a cornicopia of emotions; from laughter, to anger, to tears and sadness. Tyler definitely hit a home run with this one! The actors' performance wasn't acting at all, but "real life" drama, (wth the exception of Madea's Bible translation...a bit over the top, even for Madea.) However, my overall rating for this latest TP Production is, Superb! Taraji Henson definitely deserves the Oscar this time, and Tyler one for the writing, directing and production!

This was an uplifting movie. It is what one has come to expect from Tyler Perry - excellence. Entertainment containing the human condition; good vs. evil. We all sit in the audience wanting our revenge knowing how wrong it would be! Mr. Perry works it out for us with humor and example.
I sat in the audience praising the Lord myself in the Church scenes! That is the closest some of the audience has been to a church in a while I bet! Yet it was not boring church at all! Great artists performing.
Though I adore Madea, I forgot her presence in the movie many times. I'll go to any Madea movie that Tyler Perry gives us! Amen!

As with all shows thus far, Tyler did not waste time vreating another master piece. The use of the characters in this film was great. Taraji P. girl you are on it "dog gonnit". Marvin Winnan's scene was also great. I saw him on the TP show along with Gladys Knight. They have not lost a thing. TP You use stars that transcend time, their performances were top notch. Enjoyed the movie. It had some parts that were laugh out loud funny. Would like to have seen more of Madea.
Some of the camera shots could have been less close up and more of the whole scene.

I enjoyed the movie very much. I was surprised to see Mary J and Gladys Knight who did a great job. The lead character's boyfriend was one of the more interesting characters. The children did a wonderful job and I fell in love with the little boy's eyelashes, what a cutie. The singing numbers were very inspiring although they were a liittle long and it would have been a bit better without the lip singing imo but overall a good movie.

Great movie! One minute you are crying tears of sadness and the next minute Madea will have you crying because you are laughing so hard!
Family movie, the message is clear and not as "over the top" as past Tyler Perry productions. I am a Tyler Perry supporter since "I Know I've Been Changed". Amen!
