Overall, Eclipse was not one of the greatest movies of all time. It probably wouldn't even make my top ten. But even if I hear that all of the Twilight Saga movies are flops, I'll still go to see them because I'm a fan of the books. It is definitly the best in the saga- and will probably remain that way considering what book is next and that fact that they're spitting it in two parts; I wonder if that's just to double their money because Breaking Dawn could have been made into one movie. Eclipse would also have been easiest to make into make into a movie because the book itself had the most action. Thankfully the producers got wise and hired a new director for this movie and I hope he makes the next ones too. He made it so that Bella narrates quite a bit throughout the movie- sometimes a little too much- but it helps the movie stand on its own and not just be for people who read the books. Another thing I like about this director is that he made Kristen Stewart look Robert Pattinson in the eyes when they have their scenes together. In all good love story movies, the leads look each other in eyes like there is nothing else but them. Finally a Twilight movie had that!

I hate movie critics...why? Most are "intellectual" snobs who only think docu-dramas are worth viewing.
Eclipse is a fine balance between action and the turmoil between Bella, Edward and Jacob. The director developed the movie so that the audience was not loaded down with only one side such as too much action and not enough plot.
Excellent job! You will be thrilled with the movie. It does justice to the book.
Go view it! Worth the money!

I thought that Eclipse was 10X better than new moon and new moon was good too.. the only complaint i have is because i read the books there are a few things that made me mad that they didnt follow... Will deffinitly be seeing breaking dawn when it comes out!

eclipse was a lifeless retelling of the book. There were no surprises and no fun. just read the book again. Remember when bella was a lifeless soul in New Moon after Edward left her, that is what I think about for this movie. There is no fluid progression in the movie just a continually forced push through the storyline.

This one was the best so far, I absolutely LOVED it. The mix of suspense and humor was perfect, I felt the connection with the actors, the battle scene was incredible! I will definitely see it at least one more time. There is only one way to watch this movie and that is on the big screen, you HAVE to go!

Each movie gets bettter and better. You can tell the budget gets a little bigger as well because the quality is so great. I loved seeing the jealous moments between Jacob and Edward....executed perfectly! Will be seeing it AGAIN this weekend!

This was OMG great! I loved it....it stuck very close to the book ....as always there were a few things I would have added but understand the time restraints they are under. All the characters did a WONDERFUL job...Glad I got to see more of the Cullens this time around. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn.it will be interesting to see where they cut it at....I have idea's but will be interesting to see what THEY do.........I know it will be a while but that just gives me more time to read the book again and watch the 3 movies that are out a few more times. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!

I read all the books and after the first movie came out, I was impressed. I went to the premier of the second and was a little dissappointed. However, Eclipse has revamped (excuse the douple meaning) my enjoyment of the series and I can't wait for the final instalment.

I would recommend this movie and all the twilights to my friends. Eclipse is by far my favorite twillight movie and I can't wait until breaking dawn part 1 comes out. My favorite scene in the movie probably has to be the tent scene ; ) if you havnt seen the movie I won't spoil it for you. Just go see this movie, you won't be disappointed and get there early because the lines are crazy!! My friend has read all the books and introduced me to twilight and only after seeing the movie did I start to read the books. The books are just as good as the movie. I am definitley a twihard now. This movie has more action, romance and just adds to depth to the already amazing story.

I took my girls to see the movie opening day. They really liked it. I am not a "Twilight" fan, but this movie was the best of the 3.

Having read all the books more than once, and seen and purchased both Twilight and New Moon on DVD; I was eager to see Eclipse. I was NOT disappointed at all! As any movie, it strayed somewhat from the book but, did not disappoint. I will purchase this on DVD as soon as it comes out. I absolutely cannot wait for Breaking Dawn! I'm so glad they are breaking it into 2, giving it the intensity and depth that it deserves from the book. GREAT!

It was a really good, they stuck to the book, which was a good thing and had just enough laugh lines into to break up certian scenes. My daughter wants to see it again since it will be a while before DVD.

If you've read all the books, you will love the character development and how this movie stays true to the story. That said, this could easily be a 5-star experience for someone who has never even seen the first two films. The mix of romance and action is just right, and you'll find yourself waiting anxiously for Breaking Dawn. Don't leave your seat--they had to cram alot into 2 hours and you wouldn't want to miss anything.

I was bouncing in my seat waiting for the movie to start and I'm still bouncing waiting to see it again. I loved the book and the movie, each for their own merit. My only problem with the movie was that it moved a little fast for me in the beginning. I would have preferred the scenes to be a little longer at first, to giving me a minute to pause and get my mind where it needed to be, but they did a good job keeping the story going.
