I was wondering how they'd fit all the info from the book into a 2 hour movie...it was done very well. Not everything was included, of course, but I enjoyed the way it was orchestrated. The action and passion were amazing. Can't wait to see it again, and again : )

I'm not sure how I feel about this movie. I definitely feel like the writer & director listened to the fans. The chapter, Fire & Ice, was something I really wanted to see and it was delivered. The battle scenes were very well choreographed. If you liked the book, you'll like the movie.

Loved this movie. I enjoyed every bit of it. I loved the humor that was displayed. I loved seeing Jacob without his shirt on. However, my view was blocked several times because of Bella.
I loved the breakout stars-Jasper and Emmitt. Emmitt. Jasper and Emmitt are HOT as well. I loved the morals of Edward and him wanting to wait until marriage to engage in sexual intercours. Kudos...I would see this movie again.
This movie was a lot better than the last one. It had my attention from the beginning until the end.

I was very disapointed with the movie. I am a true fan of the books and felt the movie was choppy and disjointed. I expected more. I think they need a new screen writer. She really did a poor job. I do not look foward to the next two installments.

Over all the movie did not do the book justice! I was very disappointed!! The movie seemed to skip from scene to scene, did not flow and seemed to be missing some parts.
Also, the acting was way off in this one...it was like everyone was getting bored.
The wigs and make up looked very fake and not realistic like it had in the first couple movies. Especially Bella's wig! Horrible! OMG, all i saw the whole movie was her wig!
I know a movie will not be directly like the book, but i think they could have done a little better.
All in all, i thought it was just okay but a must see for people already following the saga and not reading the books.
Just hoping that the last movie will be a lot better! I think of this one as just a "filler."

Ok. So I read all the books and wasn't always crazy about the movie Twilight and how it was shot. New Moon was okay, but the book wasn't my favorite either. Eclipse was by far the best of the three, True to the book. Loved, Loved, Loved it. Just wasn't crazy about the new Victoria, liked the old one better.

Wow! It's the best Twilight saga movie so far. There was so much "meat" to this one. It was funny, heartwrenching, thrilling, etc! I was on the edge of my seat. I just didn't know what to expect and I was so pleasantly surprised. The thing I hated was the bad wigs on the characters a little distracting. Other than that I loved it!! Have to see it again for sure!!!

Good continuity with scenery, props, characters . . . more of an adaptation than true to the book story . It smoothed over a lot of the tension between the characters which left parts a little flat.
I enjoyed this movie. I would see it again.

The movie was overall very good, definitely the best of the three. The action scenes made the movie! It's amazing what technology can do these days to make everything look so real. Bravo!
As for the rest of the film, I expected the actors to improve their craft rather than plateau. "Jake" was the only one who seemed to really feel and grow into the part. I also like the acting style of the guy who played Riley. Very intense! Well done.
And what was with all the close ups? I wasn't sure why the director felt the audience needed to be right up in there with the characters. For some scenes it worked but mostly uncomfortable.
I also wouldn't have minded the movie to be a bit longer (extra 20 mins) to include more of the details in the book. It seemed a bit rushed.
The tent scene was by far the best one! It was comic as well as emotional and I loved the interaction between Jake and Edward. The actors play off each other better when they are not trying to argue. "Edward" doesn't do anger so well...
I also liked the way they did the backgrounds of Jasper and Rosalie. This book was one of my favorite to read because it was more about the history of the vampires and werewolves rather than just Bella and Edward.
I liked the movie and would recommend to fans of the books/movies. I can not say enough about the action scenes! Spectacular! Fans will be pleased! Can not wait to see what they do with "Breaking Down."

Very fun movie with excellent action sequences. I like that in this movie, there are moments where the filmmakers poke fun at themselves...like "doesn't he have a shirt?" from the lips of Edward. At the same time, I'm still able to take the characters seriously -- the actors are really growing into their roles and I love what I saw.

I loved the books, but was so disappointed by the first two movies. The acting sucked in Twilight and New Moon, but Eclipse was absolutely AWESOME.
The writing is better, the directing is better. The love between Bella and Edward grows more accessible by the audience; we can really understand why they are so in love.
Jacob comes in and he is just fantastic. Taylor Lautner totally nailed this character head to toe.
I would totally reccomend it to everyone who has read the books, even if you had lost faith in the movies. Eclipse will dazzle you and have you giggling at Charlie's quirky comments and gaping at Jacob's ripped stomach;)

I loved this movie!! Each movie seems to get better and better. I really enjoyed the action, seeing more about the past of different characters and watching Bella & Edward grow closer. I loved seeing the Bella & Jacob kiss, even though I am all for "Team Edward". The movie was fast paced and felt like it was over way too soon!! I am already anxious to see the next one!!

This was definitely the best movie of the series so far. I love the fight scenes the most. I also enjoyed seeing the backstories on the wolves and some of the vampire characters. I wish they had better actors for Bella and Jake's characters, but maybe I'm just too old to appreciate them. Love Edward, though. And Jasper's not bad either.

The director did a much better job in this film. The actors seemed more connected, and the overall effect was incredible. The special effects were also much better. I will definately see this movie again! Bravo to all who worked on it!!

Of all the Twilight movies, they finally managed to produce one that is actually worth its salt as a movie! I noticed several improvements - the acting is considerably better, the editing is better, even the make up (especially on Bella) is noticably better! It was a good, fun, thrilling, enjoyable movie whether you're a fan of the books or not. The movie was fluid, flowing from one scene to the next flawlessly without any awkward pauses or down time. They do the story justice and I didn't feel that there was anything in the book that they left out that was greatly missed. The movie is romantic, funny, exciting...a little bit of everything for everyone. If you were disappointed in the first two, don't let that stop you - go see it!!!

OMG it was great! I thing it was so better than the second. I think the worst part was the wigs lol. But, so much of the book was in the movie. Charlie aka the scene stealer was perfect. Jacob has some funny scenes. Everybody clapped and giggle when he appears in the movie. I love how Jasper stepped up to the plate. I loved the proposal too. I got teary eyed about 3 times(I sucked it up tho lol) It was just great.

I really enjoyed this Twilight movie. It was a very good blend of action and romance. I still can't say that I love all the angst between Bella and Edward--I thought Bella was more fun and less distraught in the books--but all the actors are very engaging. I especially enjoyed seeing more of the back stories for Jasper and Rosalie and more involvement from Charlie, who, when all is said and done, is my favorite character. And I don't care what people say, seeing Jacob in all his muscular spendor is never a hardship. So it's not the greatest movie ever made, but I certainly didn't consider it a waste of time. It was a fun way to spend two hours, so yes I would recommend it.
