As most of you know, this is the third installment of the movie as part of the Twilight Series. Eclipse has a little something for everyone. There seems to be a little more humor included in this movie compared to the first two. Not necessarily a bad thing. I won't give away what happens in the movie for those who have not seen it. I'm not sure why the critics are not all raving about this movie as it seems to have more action than the first two. Probably for ratings and the conflict/shock value. If you're into vampire and werewolf type movies, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't enjoy this movie. That goes for guys as well. The only complaint I would have is the replacement actress for the "Victoria" character does not seem to pull off the villain role very well. Rachelle Lefevre (who originally played Victoria in the first two movies) played the part extremely well. The replacement actress just didn't seem to portray evil very well.

Between New Moon and Eclipse , the 2nd was better, because there was a great fighting scene! They showed more of Jacob and his clan. More of the whole culllin family. The movie also stayed pretty close to the book, but I understand, that the shattering of the Newborns was to keep the movie pg rating.

Excellent! The movie followed the book very closely (I reread the book before seeing the film) and really brought the action to life, especially the fight scene with the newborns. Terrific action - without all the blood and gore usually shown for shock value.

I wish I could say it was the best in the saga so far but I have loved all of them. MY husband is still pulling fo Jacob and I know Edward gets the Bella. I enjoy them all so much we also but the DVD so I can watch them whenever I want. Great job to all the actors. You are great.

The movie had no weak spots although do to the amount of storyline at times it was slow. The acting was better than the first two and you are slowly understanding the worlds of Vampire and Wolf. Fun to watch and makes you excited for the sequal.

Yes, this is now my favorite of the 3 movies to date. This movie followed the dialogue from the book much closer that the other two. I would have added Seth and Edward gathering ALL the pieces to burn, which would have added a lot and taken very little time. Also, there should have been more burning piles in the field of Cullen's. But that's it. Great back stories, great flow, lots of action and more wolves. Beautifully done!

This being the third installment for the franchise I was alittle nervous but after watching it I was thrilled once again with Edward, Bella and Jacob. They deviated from the book in some areas and totally left out some good parts that should of been in the movie but overall, I think they still stayed true to Twilight and the fans will continue to love these characters.

I took my three teenagers - 17 1/2, 14, and 13. They all enjoyed it. I did as well. There were alot of funny one liners that I didn't expect which weren't in the first two. I am looking forward to seeing it again!

I thought the movie was better than first two installments of the Saga. There seemed to be more humor as well and actually seeing the emotions on the actors faces. Edward seemed to be more human in this film, as he is portrayed in the novels. I liked that we really got to see inside the minds of the other family members in the Cullen clan. I thought that for the money these movies make, they are a far cry from Harry Potter, whose special effects really make the movies stand out. Hopefully this can change some before Breaking Dawn.

Saw The Twilight Saga: Eclipse yesterday and I must say, I left impressed and quite satisfied. I thought the acting improved; they also stuck very closely to the book. There might have been some small changes that differ from the book, but it definitely did not make the movie any less enjoyable. A lot of action and lots of sweet moments between Edward and Bella. Fans won't be disappointed. Best out of the 3 in my opinion. =)

I thought that Eclipse was probably the best of the three movies so far, but still may be a bit hard to follow for anyone who had not read the series. They obviously had to leave alot out. Too bad a big part of what is missing are the parts of the stories in the movies that help to build the chemistry between the characters. For example, why did Bella even like Edward in the first place? If you didn't read the books, would you buy into it? Lautner out-acts the other two. Amazing that he was the one they were considering axing after the first movie. I am happy that Eclipse goes into the backgrounds of Rosalie, Jasper, and the Quileute Werewolves, but I wish they would have dug deeper with the Quileute. That was one of the most interesting parts of the book. The proposal was quite romantic and the Tent Scene was done especially well. The dialogue between Edward and Jacob was one of the best scenes. I think all actors are getting better as they grow into the characters. I even thought the wolves CGI was done a lot more believably this time. I am glad the movie ended happily, but one of the most touching parts for me in the book was when Jacob gets the wedding invitation, phases, and goes running in the wooods alone. Ofcourse, who wants to leave the theatre bawling, so I guess that is why they chose to end it the way they did.
Howard should not have been given the part of Victoria, no matter who she is related to. The old Victoria had a great crooked evil smile. Howard played it soft. It was hard to be scared of her.
I will continue to buy a ticket for each movie in the Saga, but I may not sit there for 2 1/2 hours ahead of time just to make premiere night again. I really thought the theatre could have handed out some SWAG!!! How about a movie poster or a lousy plastic cup for those of us TwiHards who were dedicated to come 3 hours early to a Midnight Premiere on a Tuesday? C'Mon Summit! Where is the Love?

Eclipse is by far the best movie out of the three Twilight movies thus far!!!!! It captures the book well and even seems to include some scenes from the newest book about Bree Tanner's short second life. I would recommend it for everyone!!!!! Eclipse has to be one of the best twilight saga films so far. where in twilight and new moon, they focus more on the love aspect of edward and bella. In eclipse, you get more of jacobs side (not to mention most of his scenes he has no shirt on lol). SOme comedy was thrown in as well, making the movie a must see for anyone who has slight interest in wolf/vampire confrontations. THe fight scene was well done, the wolfs (even though you can tell they are cgi) actually looked pretty impressive as well. the guy who plays bellas father is wonderful, steals the scenes he's in and had the audience laughing. All in all, it was a great movie for twihard as well as for people who havent seen the first two movies. please dont look at new moon and give up hope. eclipse will definitely keep your attention for the whole 2 hours and 4 minutes.

Wow....I expected Eclipse to be a tad better then Twilight/Newmoon, but I was honestly blow away. The acting improved, CGI was awesome and the movie ran smooth - no awkward pauses or stumbles. If your a twilight fan you'll LOVE it, if your an action movie type of person you'll LOVE it - this movie hits every category and I have to say - go Team 'David Slade'.

I really enjoyed the movie. I loved the fight scene between Victoria & Edward. In all my years of vampire movies, I've never seen a vampire killed they way they showed it, kinda cool. I also became a Team Jacob member because he really pour his heart out in this movie, like the book. The movie was very intense and I was at the edge of my seat most of the time. Can't wait until Breaking Dawn, Part 1 and 2.
