I've read all the books and I've seen all the movies so far. The first two movies were good but had some details missing that would have been made the movies better. Eclispe was by far the best one. The director did an amazing job he got the details and he did some parts different from the book and I liked it better than the way the book had it.

This movie stayed on par with the other two. It was very good and stayed pretty close to the book. Loved that they kept all the stories from the book incorporated into the movie.

I loved this movie! Every big part that was in the Eclipse book was in this movie in one way or another! They didn't leave anything out! There was a lot more action in Eclipse than in New Moon or Twilight! I am so excited to see what they come up with for Breaking Dawn. This movie is a must see!

I am a twilight fan...maybe not a "twi-hard" but I am reading the books and have gone to all the premiers thus far and I must say I enjoy the books more! Eclipse to my dissappointment had more kissing scenes than fighting scenes. The great thing about this movies was the background stories of jasper, rosalie etc. It gave the movies a bit more depth and helps you understand the characters more. I don't consider twilight to be teen appropriate due to the "love" nature of the series. It's a great married couples flick, a little fight sequences for the guys and mushiness for the girls mixed in with humor it makes for an entertaining date night! My hubby gets a kick out of them! All in all it was an entertaining movie and I didn't realize it was over 2 hrs. Enjoy!

I loved it just as much as the other two. the thing i hated was the guy behind me who hadn't seen the first two so his g/f or whoever it was, was trying to explain the whole thing to him as the movie went on. Seriously! see the first two before seeing this one!

Eclipse brought back the excitement from the first Twilight. New moon was ok but Eclipse was on another level. I heart Bella and Edward as well as the action/fighting scenes.

Eclipse was an excellent movie. Each main character was played perfectly and really captured the feel of the book, more so than the previous two movies. It had a great combination of humor, love, and action to make it appeal to a wider number of people.

i loved the movie!
i've seen it twice already :)
they did a great job of fitting everything in there, but the only disadvantage to that is that the movie was rather rushed, and the plot moved quickly. but, it stayed very close to the book, and they got in everything that was important.
also, since i am so in love with the eclipse soundtrack, i love the music! but i was a little disappointed with how they used some of the songs, but the second half of the movie was much better in that regard.
loved how they used 'Eclipse' as the credits song :)
but the funny parts in this movie had me literally CRACKING UP! even some parts that didn't try to be funny, they just were hysterical :D
anyway, i can't wait to see it again!!

I absolutely lovedddd Eclipse! It definitely did the book justice! It seemed like everyones acting improved from the first two movies. The action in this movie was just incredible.Even though I'd read all the books,the movie kept me on edge and zoned in the whole time! I LOVED IT!

The movie followed the book really well and I wasn't disappointed at all. There was just one line from the book that wasn't in the movie and I wish it was (from the tent scene). Overall excellent and I can't wait to go back and see it again!!

I have not read the books but I LOVE these movies! Eclipse has been the best by far. There were funny parts, sad parts and happy parts! I especially liked the love triangle they have going on and how it touches on the other characters past in this movie.

Best movie in the series so far. I loved all the movies so far and the books, but the main reason for my obsession is Taylor Lautner (Jacob). He does an incredible job portraying Jacob in all three movies so far, especially "Eclipse." Not many people even knew who he was before this series began, and I am so glad he was given this role. Originally Stephenie Meyer was not planning on making Jacob a regular character in the books, but he instantly became a favorite, so I am glad she did :) Can't imagine these books or movies without him!
Overall, the movie was exactly how I thought it would be, action packed, some comedy, and of course the ever popular love triangle. My only criticism is that the movie left out some parts I thought were important, such as the tent scene, and they totally rushed into Jacob declaring his love for Bella. That doesnt happen till more than halfway through the book. I also preferred the other actress who played Victoria, but all in all it was a great movie. If only they could have made it another half hour we would have been good :)

I went & saw it opening day I loved it. It had a lot more action then the first 2, however I was suprised on such a small turn out for the showing I went to see & the showing before. I would definitely see it again & I will definitely buy it when it comes out in video. It has a lot more kissing but for those you like action more fighting too, the only thing my son didn't like was that there was no blood, but what do you expect from boys!!!

This was by far hands down the BEST movie from the Twilight Saga so far. It was very entertaining and I really enjoyed the little side stories of the different characters as well. I thought that was really interesting and I was never bored during this movie. The whole time I was on edge waiting to see what was going to happen next. It was also comical at times so it was a very enjoyable movie. Eclipse the book was my favorite book from the saga so I'm happy that the movie lived up to the book. I'm planning on seeing it more than just once. Thank you Summit Entertainment for coming out with a knock out movie!

I really enjoyed this movie. They definitely get better with each new movie. I only wish that the fight scene was a little longer bu totherwise I definitely recommend this one. Even if you're not a Twi-hard this movie has the passion, action and humor all in one movie.

It goes without saying that any Twilight fan will see Eclipse no matter what the review turns out to be. However, I will say that the screenplay was well written and the directing was good. They stayed close to the original story line but managed to transfer a much loved book into a great movie, which is not always easy to do. Besides focusing on the whole love triangle, there was a definate theme to the movie; focusing on the severity of Bella's choice to give up her human life to become a vampire, and it was evident from begining to end. Even someone not familiar with the books could be drawn in by the characters story that was presented. We also got to see Rosalie and Jasper's pasts. There is more humor injected into the film, despite its darker tone. My only complaint is that there were a lot of close face shots of Bella/Jacob and Bella/Edward in their intense moments with each other. Despite that, I loved the wide camera angles where we were able to see more of the mountains and forests. It was also great to see the meadow scene shot in a real meadow and not in a studio set. All in all, Twilight fans should be pleased with how the book transfered to the big screen, and nonfans should still leave satisfied that they did not waste their money.

David Slade so far is the only director that has been able to capture the true essence of the book and translate it to film. Bravo! The movie was awesome!. The trailers to Eclipse don't do it justice. I loved how all of the characters had numerous speaking roles. I loved the love scenes...I loved the fight between Edward and Victoria. I only counted 3 things that were awesome in the book that were not translated into the movie. Other then that...I really enjoyed Eclipse! And I will see it over and over again!
