The movie has everything, the love story, the rivalry, the drama and fantasy, From the first movie it pulls you in and makes you choose a side and wish you were truely one of them either, werewolf or vampire...for the girls, you wish you were bella and that there was someone out there with the love that Edward has for her....for you....but sadly, there just doesn't seem to be that kind of love in the world anymore. That being said, this movie gives you hope for passion, change and fantasy,,,..,I will read all the books and watch this series over and over....I'm all team Edward....

I do not know how this movie have 4.5 stars, that was what dragged me to watch it...but I think I do know why nowadays the teenagers spend more in the computer so 90% of the ratings come from them, it is definitely a teen movie...even though the acting was good the plot was very predictable, it explains how some of the characters became vampire etc but I was expecting more action, more CGI and less romance and blah blah, specialty with that back and forth thing with Jacob and Bella got me tired t, It was too long, I would not go to watch the next one.

Imagine if you will :
A movie about teenage Vampires and Werewolves, that attend high school, Beverly Hills 90210 style, need I say more..............
Given this handicap, it is actually an OK movie, with good acting, special effects, and well above average cinematography.
I thought this was going to be a waste of time, but was instead pleasantly entertained.

I am sooo in love with these movies! I was never interested bc it involved vampires and I'm not generally into that stuff. BUT a friend loaned me her Twilight DVD to watch to see what the fuss was about. Well, I was hooked! the love story of it was all I needed. By the time New Moon was in theatres I had preordered me and my friends tickets just as I did for Eclipse. I havent read any of the books and I dont plan to bc to me it ruins the movie. So for anyone who isnt sure if they should watch or not, I recommend watching Twilight and New Moon first... afterall, you need to be up to date! :)

This was a good movie, in the teeny, cheese department. I've read all the books and enjoyed them very much. The movies can be tough to watch sometimes, but I thought Eclipse was very well done. It had its cheezy moments, but the action in the battle scenes were super fun! I thought everyone involved in making the movie did a good job.

I thought it was a bit long and the back and forth between Bella and Jacob was boring but....the movie did include background mini biographies on some of the charactors and how they came to be Vampires which was interesting. I went alone because I knoew that my husband would not like it.

This movie was amazing! I got really hooked on the Twilight books and I reread Eclipse before coming out just to see if the director would stick to the book and he did! There are some insignificant parts that are not like the book but is not distracting from the storyline. This was the best Twilight movie yet!

My wife dragged me to see this and I loved it! The only criticism I have is the dialogue was a little corny, but the action and actors more than made up for it. See it in digital with good sound and on a big screen. Very romantic!

Acting wasn't too great, but Taylor didn't disappoint. He looked hotter than ever. I was expecting more to this movie since this was my favorite book in the series. Overall i gave it a 2 out of 5 because it could have been way better, and the acting wasn't great either.

I enjoyed this movie more than the first two. I felt the actors had fleshed out their characters more and the movie seemed to flow better than the other two. David Slade did a wonderful job directing and I would recommend seeing the film in the movie theatre.

Strong movie for the Twi-hard elite and those just beginning the Twilight journey.
CONS: I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because the switch in actresses playing "Victoria" was a big mistake. The original "Victoria" was stronger and Howard fell short. Starting the movie with Riley was also a bit out of theme, adding to a slow start.
PROS: Thankfully the pros far outweigh the cons. Lautner gives an excellent performance and provides ample humor and cutting edge tension to the movie. Those who were Team Edward may find themselves faltering after this movie. Equally, the background stories on Rosalie and Jasper deepen the character building on the Cullen family, adding depth and intrigue to the movie. Jasper is at his best in this film ensuring there may be a third team: team Jasper. Equally strong are performances by Charlie whose true breadth and wit come through in this third movie.
The film was exciting and had several "laugh out loud" moments for both tweens and adults as well as enough tension to round things out.
A job well-done.

I have to say, out of all 3 movies this one is by far the best at following the book. That said, my mom went with me, she hasn't read the books so she had alot of questions after. I did enjoy myself. Being Team Jacob isn't always easy but this movie made it worth it!

I am such the Twilight Saga fan, and of the 3 movies, this was by far the best made. David Slade did an excellent job capturing the story from the novel, and the actors were fantastic. I LOVED this movie!
