When the trailers said this was going to be the best of the series, I just thought they were exaggerating and that it was going to be just about the same as the others. I was completely wrong. This was my favorite book of the series and I have to admit that this definitely has been my favorite of the movies so far. I am so team Edward so I am completely releieved that the story turns back to Edward and Bella and includes Jacob a little less. Anyway, this movie had awesome special effects and not to mention had AMAZING acting. I absolutely loved it. Needless to say, I will probably go back and see it several more times before the it is out of the theatres and I will also be buying it on DVD the DAY it comes out. I loved it and I am so psyched for the last book to be made into a movie(s).

I am a true, true fan of Twilight. Reading all the books twice I know what to expect but I was so disappointed in the ending of Eclipse. I would have like to have seen her and Edward tell Charlie about the wedding or at the very end have Jacob open a invitation to the wedding like in the book! It would have had a better OMG ending like New Moon! So it still had no purpose, no moving forward for the characters. But despite that, acting was better, more sexual tension and loved, loved the other characters pasts and thier personalites shine through!

Best of the Twilight Saga so far!! Had a bit of everything from romance to action! As also someone who is a BIG fan of the books the Movie was a very close comparison to the book. I WAS NOT disappointed at all!! I plan on going to see it again. Looking forward to the next movie of the Saga!!

If you're a Twihard, you'll see it anyway regardless of what you read in reviews so this isn't for you obsessed fools like me who stayed up for the midnight showing only to wait in line for two hours. Thank goodness for online ticket purchase options. My basic feeling when I left the theater? A few observations. Since when did Carlisle develop an English accent? With all the money they probably had for this movie, knowing it was going to be a smash hit, they couldn't do a better job with Bella's hair/wig? The color changes throughout the whole movie and there are times I just wanted to reach through the screen and pull the thing off! It felt a bit disjointed as a whole, scenes that felt like they should have had a few more seconds, one or two more lines of dialogue, were cut just a bit too short and left me feeling jarred. And I wil never forgive whomever was responsible for replacing Rachel Lev... I can't spell her name. The original Victoria. She deserved to play her character out to the very end. The climactic end that the first two movies built up to and the end that we the readers knew was coming was completely flat and emotionless when it actually happened. I could have cared less about the body lying there whereas if it had been the original actress, boy that would have felt like a Victoriously Dead Victoria. But it's Twilight, it's Edward and Bella and the Cullens and the wolves and funny lines from Charlie and epic scenery shots so you have to love it. Even if it could have been better. At least the ending was pretty. Shocking, no. Audience grabbing, no. But two pretty actors in a pretty field with pretty flowers saying pretty things. Pretty.

Lots of action and romance. Does not follow the book with details, and has a lot of extra action that the book does not have but still it is an amazing movie, the acting has improved tremendously. Definitely recommend!

If you've read the books and seen the movies then I don't have to tell you to see this movie. You will anyway. This is by far the best in the series so far. No where near as angsty as the first or as dour and sexist as the second. However if twilight isn't your thing nothing in will change that. Kristen has vastly approved her acting, coming off as intrinsic and pensive rather than self-centered. Pattinson is charming and engaging. And Lautner may steal the show with his energy. The other characters like Rose and Jasper are finally developed and explored,the new Victoria is far better than the last acting wise, and the cinematography is finely displays backwoods Washington. Only complaints are the sometimes cheap effects, occasional drawn out dialogue and finally Bella's wig which looked clearly fake in most of her scenes. Overall a fun movie. Go see it, but only if it's your thing.

This was the best one in the saga so far! The acting is sooo much better than the firt one and it was a nice balance of Jacob and Edward! They did a really good job of keeping fairly true to the book. The guy who played Riley was a really good choice he fit the character and he was reallllllly good looking! I LOVED THIS MOVIE! I AM GOING TO SEE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN! <3

Out of the 3 movies so far, this was by far the best one. Lots of action. Of course, the third book was my favorite so I figured I would like this one better. Kristen Stewart did not annoy me so much this time. I think her character is all wrong (IMO)...she is very wooden and stilted in her acting. She does, however, seem to be warming up a little in this movie. Great rapport between Edwards and Jacobs character...quite a few laughs. Effects in the movie were much better. You can tell they put more money into production. Actually looking forward to the next two.

I was a little disappointed in New Moon, but Eclipse definately makes up for it. I Loved it and can't wait to see it again. Still hate the Cullen's eyes though. They're supposed to be light brown, not yellow. They're supposed be beautiful creatures and the cat eyes make them look weird and unnatural. No way they could blend in with humans looking like that. Please fix this for Breaking Dawn!!

This was a very good movie. I don't agree with the previous review that it was better than the book. It was just as good as the book, however. I do recommend you read the books before seeing the movies. There is just so much that has to be left out because of time. If you read the book and then see the movie, I think you wll enjoy the movie MORE!!

I really like the scene structure of this movie compared to the first two of the saga. Each scene merged into the next seamlessly, telling a well thought-out story line. Special attention was paid to additional character development, making the movie much richer and substantive. The dialog was so… much better and true to the book series. Over all, this is my favorite “Twilight Saga” movie so far. I am now looking forward to seeing the next two movies in the series.

i was pretty surprised at how great this movie was. my little sis and i are big fans of the books and we were both pretty disappointed with the movie portrayals of twilight and new moon but with eclipse its a totally different story. they kept the storyline very similar to the book even with alot of exclusions, i mean the movie IS 2 hrs long. and even the acting was much better. i definitely recommend watching it.

This movie was great! If you are a fan of the Twilight series than it is a must see. Each movie has been better than the last. I have been waiting fo this movie to come out forever and now that it finally has i saw the premeire and it was absolutly amazing!!!!! I would see 20 more times and still wouldnt be bored or tired of it. they really captured the movie very well!

OMG i pre-order my ticket let month early it was so worth it. This movies was funny, action packed, and sexy all in one packaging. Seriously if you haven't seen it you need to cause it was so much better then the other two movies. Don't get me wrong i still love Twilight and New Moon but Eclipse is just tiredly in a new league.
