This is certainly the best installment of the saga yet, however, Robert Pancake-Face was my least favorite in the movie...actually, I don't know what's worse: Him or Bella's wig?
Anyways, he came across as very controlling in this one. In the books, yes he's over the top, however, Edward seemed sexier and more carasmatic then Pattinson's version. The romance scences were annoying, which says a lot considering the the book is a romance novel.
The action was great. Opening scene was good, fight scene great, but the best part was JASPER. Move over RPatz, Jasper is so smoking hot in this movie he rekindled my butterflies for the story again.
Bottom line, if you are not a sap for really cheesy, over the top controlling relationships, you'll probably still like the movie because the the suspence.

I have read all the books and feel that all three movies have followed them pretty closely. I enjoyed this one because it moved a little faster than the others. I liked the humor that the characters used. I would like to see Kristen be a little more "real" , she seems so stiff, not confident in her role maybe. Very much anticipating the next movie.

Great movie! I would highly recommend it. I does require knowledge of the previous movie or books. Overall, so good that I want to watch it again and rarely does that happen for me.

Eclipse was produced way better than the first two in my opinion. It had a lot more action and a lot of stuff you wouldn't expect. I love how you get to hear more about Jasper in this movie. You really get to know about his past and why he's the way he is. I recommend you to see this movie. It's a lovely action packed, romance movie!!

It was incredible. All I can say is that I will definitely go back 2-3 more times before the movie comes out on DVD. P.S. I'm being conservative when I say 2-3. Everyone will love it !!!

I enjoyed the film and was waiting anxiously for the release date to come. Saw the film on opening day with a lot of giggling tweens!!!
READ the entire series and was expecting this one to be much darker than the director allowed it to be...I also was disappointed how cheesy the filmaker made the love scenes...
But overall I loved the action scenes, the internal angst from both male leads and how some scenes not disclosed in the book was revealed immediately in the movie. (the reader doesn't know for SURE that Victoria is behind the army nor aware that the Volturi visits Seatle before they leave for Forks) but it was believable. I also enjoyed the condensed versions of all three flashbacks (Rose, The Origins of the Pack & Jaspers)
I am Team Edward ALL the way but found my self giggling just a little when the entire audience clapped when she finally hooked up with J!
Go see it, you won't be disappointed, even with all the cheesiness

I didnt believe that the Twilight stars could do any better than what they did in New Moon, but I couldnt be more wrong! Eclipse absolutely knocked my socks off. I saw it opening night, and about died. You get to see the stories of the characters Jasper and Rosalie Hale, which shows how they got to the Cullen family. And there is a really good action scene. I would not recommend this movie for children under 12 years of age. It was pretty violent (the little girl behind us cried) and implied certain things. Overall Eclipse was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD!!

I absolutely loved it!!! I started watching these movies because of my 12 year old daughter!! And now I am hooked!!! This one was AWESOME but I gotta admit I fell inlove with the first one ... My daugther and I saw Eclipse yesterday and she's read all the books, she was a little upset to see that they changed several things in it compared to the book.. But at the end she said it was still GREAT and we both loved it!!!!

Eclipse is worth seeing, but if you haven't read the book, the movie may not always make complete sense and may seem a bit disjointed.
I wish the movie had included the scene where Alice kidnaps Bella. Overall, I did enjoy the movie.

I loved it!!! I have seen all the twilight moviies a million times and thought this was a nice adaption of the book. There was some of the lines and the action was great. I wish the bedroom scene was a tad bit longer as it was in the book but the leg hitch was there!!! Everyone looked better than they did in the other movies-Edward was HOT I didn't think they could have made him look any better! The only thing I was sad was the Jacob - Bella kiss there wasn't the what if sequence she had in the book nor the I choose Edward because I have seen I don't want Jacob now and of course the very ending in the book she had the Wuthering Hieghts anology but in the movie she gives some girl power speech. But I will see it a few hundred more times still.

The movie was by far the best movie from the Twilight saga yet. The actors seem more comfortable in the characters and the script followed the book better this time around. The movie was exciting and full of good directing and a very beautiful sets. Hope they can keep this momentum going for the next two! Cant wait!!!

I took my wife to see this as she's a fan of the books. This film - much like the others - features atrocious acting. As well as the books sell, one would think they might cast the films better. It's simply pathetic. I do realize this saga is geared towards young adults, but I could not get past how many of them were still giddy after it was finally over. I figured some of those kids would see through the train wreck, but I gave their intelligence far too much credit. This film will make money, but only on the popularity of the book, and the shirt removal of Taylor Lautner.

I went to the midnight premiere of this with my friend for the fun of it and I dressed up as Harry Potter. I even brought a wand. But all of the girls cheering and clapping and the slow pace of the movie really made me want to curl up and go to sleep. But a few moments were well done, and worth the hype of this franchise. But most of it was somewhat embarrassing. If you like Twilight, you will love this. Don't go just to get out of the house or something. Go if you are a fan.

I went with two of my best girlfriends, and we absolutely loved this movie. They seem to get better each time. We did wish some parts of the book had been included but are still die hard fans!! We are sooo looking forward to Breaking Dawn!!!

The movie was excellent! We enjoyed ourselves and were even happy that we waited the two hours in the theater for it to start! The triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob becomes ever tighter and much more interesting and funny in this film. The wolf animation is still really awesome and the battle scene was really, REALLY good! You'll love it!

I loved this movie!! I think the story was told very well, unless you have memorized the book (like I have) then you wouldn't even notice the parts that were left out. It captured the love story very very well. I recommend that every one see it. It is definitely worth it!!

Oh my!! My kids, hubby & I ENJOYED this movie! The second movie had me torn apart and now I am TEAM EDWARD all the way. My kids and husband are so torn. Its funny. Really glad I saw this movie. The movie quality was great and eclipse is my next favorite book (twilight being the first) Great love story....but kind of feel bad for jacob. Also, i felt that the director could have played up the "war" scene a bit better. But still a great movie.....a must see for twilight fans!
