... The Twilight Saga gets better and better. The action scenes are phenomenal and exciting, in your face feeling. The tension and humor used to diffuse situations was not over the top.
The music soundtrack was exhilarating and well chosen.
.... The passion between Bella and Edward and Bella and Jacob was tastefully done for the PG 13 crowd.
Highly Recommend this movie to all.

The movie was exciting and full of action. It gave a more in depth look at other members in the Cullen coven. All lot of the scences seemed rushed and if you're expecting an exact adaptation of the book, then you will be disappointed. But do any movies actually stick to the book? I still loved the movie and would go see it again!

Out of the three movies this was in my opinion the second best ( the first one being the best ). It had its moments of boredom ( at least a 1/2 hour stretch after the first hour ) but then picked up with some funny remarks leading to a great ending....which agian sets you up for the next movie.

Great movie, only two things that I didn't like: 1) some bad doubling for stunts, was so obvious and 2) they left out what connected the title to the movie. Would have been nice to hear or understand why the title was the Eclipse.

Ok, just saw the movie last night and here’s my in depth rundown….
Beginning: not to bad - thumbs up
1st Half: if you have A.D.H.D. than I’m sure you loved it…scene, chop, scene, chop, scene, chop…you get the idea. Liked what there was though.
2nd Half: Magnificent
Ending: three little letters…WTF???
Will I go and see it a bajillion more times…yep! :)
I’ve also decided that I’m more in love with the idea of the books being made into movies and not so much with the movies themselves. I love and support the cast and I love hearing so many great lines from the books become verbalized but in the end dreams never quite do turn out the way we expect them to... so... when all is said and done... I’ll treasure this movie just like I do the other two :)

Good adaptation of the novel; actors have definitely stepped up there game in collaboration with the development of their characters. Action scenes were great. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn 1 and 2.

A lot of times, movies don't do the books justice. This one, however, totally brought the book to life! I highly, HIGHLY recommend seeing this movie, even if you aren't so into the Twilight series...this one will get you hooked!

Eclipse was the best movie so far. They did a really good job at following the book closely. I will see it again and am amped up for Breaking Dawn Part 1 next year. I would highly recommended this movie.

This is the best movie so far out of the Twilight series. The fight scene with the newborn Vampires and Cullens and Wolves was absolutely Awesome! I would highly recommend anybody to go see this movie. The Wolves looked so realistic. Seeing it on the big screen makes it even cooler!

I have read all the books, watched the previous two movies and this was the best so far. I loved the fight scene, was anxious to see how they put that together and it was like reading it straight from the book...very good movie. Would pay money to see it

This is the best yet!!! My daughter and I have gone to each one and this movie has completely surpassed our expectations. The movie stays pretty close to the book and that is appreciated. So many times the movie gets too far away from the story and this one did not! We loved the books and will continue to follow the Twilight Saga to the end! Eclipse keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you wanting more!!! BRAVO!!!

The graphics were awesome. The acting was perfect, I felt every feeling in the movie. So glad they made it the way they did. Eclipse was intense. The fighting scene was great, I wanted to get in the movie and help them fight. Brilliant.

In my opinion, this was the best adaptation so far. Finally, Edward and Bella appear as a real couple, passionately in love. Great action, great dialogue, great special effects. Yes, there were big pieces of the story that were left out, but for the sake of the pace of the movie, it worked. David Slade brought a crispness, perhaps due to the fact this segment was shot for IMAX, that had yet to be seen in the Twilight Saga. The character development was rich and everyone's favorite "tent scene" was done extremely well. I will definitely be purchasing the DVD when it comes out! A totally satisfying movie-going experience, even if you aren't a die-hard Twilight fan.

I wasnt sure what to expect with a new director and some new cast. Also they keep changing the way everyone but Charlie looks in the movies, LOL.. But I thought they did a great job overall. It went with the book best of all three movies so far and the acting continues to improve.

I can't believe that it only gets better! The writers and directors made it beautiful. Goes to show you what letting the original writer Stephanie Meyers on set can do! I still can't believe how they got a 700 page book in a 2 1/2 hour movie and hit all important parts with no effort! Highly impressed thank you!
