If you are a fan of the books, you will love this movie! It follows the book better then the first two. The action scenes and the digital wolves were amazing! Def an A+ for me!

For twihards, this movie will be right on the money. I enjoyed it and the added action and humor. However, it was not as true to the novel as the first two movies were, and that really disappointed me. The acting ability of the three main stars has greatly improved over the previous films, but Bryce Dallas Howard just didn't strike me as the truly evil Victoria. The replacement actress was a disappointment to me.

Eclipse was very faithful to the book. The love triangle was interesting to watch play out. The battle scene went by too fast but I left the movie satisfied and can't wait for the Breaking Dawn movies. I plan on seeing Eclipse at least once more if not more.

I love the Twilight series.
Loved the books & the movies.
With the books the original (Twilight) was my favorite.
However, after having seen Eclipse at the theater, that takes the lead for me as far as the movies go.

Great movie! I've seen both of the other Twilight movies and read all of the books. The movies don't really follow the books very well but they are goo anyway! There is more adult content in this movie so it's probably not a good movie for kids younger than 9 or 10. The action scenes are really good and they start to get deeper into the characters' back stories. This is definitely the best Twilight movie so far! Can't wait for the next one!

The youtube Video "Why twilight is Popular" probably sums up this movie better than I can hope to. I believe the girls have a right to their own brand of "feel-good" Movie, that taps into their insecurities and tells them just the kind of story they need, to have their spirits lifted. Nerds have their SciFy soaps, jocks their glorific Football movies and stoners drag their girlfriends to see "the Big Lebowsky" over and over. But do you have to really make a movie from just such an unusually badly written drizzles. It's so blatantly, PG-13-pornographic and unapologetically ludicrous, without even a sense of humor about itself. This generation of teens has been dealt a terrible hand for their start to life. It seems from the "Jonas Brothers" to Robert Pattinson all they're ever offered for consumption is a medley of talentless crap to look up too. And I thought the eighties were bad?
The only thing worse than this movie is the prospect of a forth installment of the saga.

Let's be honest, all of the Twilight movies are cheesy, but this really was the best so far. You could actually enjoy it even if you don't love the books. I would see it several more times. The directing was great. The new director brought the pace up significantly and really brought out the best performance to date from the actors. It also didn't take itself so seriously, which made it much more enjoyable. Loved, loved, loved Dakota Fanning!

After reading the Twilight series and seeing the two previous films I was curious to see how Eclipse would turn out. Though most series are never quite as good as the books, Eclipse was easily the best film so far. The romance between Edward and Bella was shown deeper than before; their love for one another becoming stronger despite the constant complications supplied by werewolf pal Jacob. I also enjoyed seeing the backstory of the minor characters, giving the audience a more detailed look into their personalties. A few things could've been cleaned up in the fighting scenes (dead victoria) but besides that the action was done very nicely. If you're generally a fan of the series then you'll enjoy the movie.

Went to the midnight showing and had the best time! The movie was Amazing! Great love scenes, great fight scenes and loved the subtle humor in some of the dialog. The saga is fantastic and each movie is better and better. Makes you feel young again and have fun in the world of fantasy! Reading the books is a definite must as well and this is coming from someone who hates to read...

I took my 10 year old daughter to see this movie. We are both Team Edward. Needless to say, this was by far the best movie I have seen in a long time, and the best Twilight so far. It totally brought the book to life. So, whether your Team Edward or Jacob, this movie is a must see for all Twilight fans. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn.

Ok.. decided to get tickets and take my daughter to it. All I have to say is OH MY GOD!!! I could feel brain cells die as I watched this "movie." Honestly, I really think I left that theather with less brain cells and a lower IQ. It was more painfull to sit through this horrible movie than when I had a spinal tap (and I'm serious). Do yourself a favor, and just shove bamboo sticks under your finger nails.

I am a Twighlight Mom in my mid 40's and I am obsessed with the Twilight Saga. Eclipse was great! I love the romance triangle thing going on between Jacob, Edward & Bella! The only thing that was too rediculous was the battle. The vampire body parts falling apart like chalk was really dumb! Other than that- Loved the entire movie!!!!

I love all the movies. But Eclipse - by far - is the best one yet. The books are still my first choice, but they did a really good job putting this one to screen. And having read the "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" first, gave a little more insight to the vampire army.

This one is, admittedly, the best out of the three so far. The fight scenes were cool. Jasper still looks like he has to poop, but know we hear why: Not only is he newer- and therefore hungrier- than the others, but he was a general in the confederate army, so the military + the hungry looks just like "I have to poop". Rosalie looks horrible- bad makeup. Edward and Jacob have a weird Brokeback moment in the tent. Bella wears a noticeable wig, but she looks better in this film than the others. But if you're a Twihard you'll see it, and like it. It wasn't completely awful and gave us plenty of laughs. Overall a fun night.

The movie was truly outstanding! They completely put was in the book onto the screen for viewers to watch! An example, durring the fight scene, the characters are so alive and care about what they are doing! I also thought that the director did such a better job casting people and picking who was right for the job, and the plot was again so similar to the book :)

Yes I am in my fifties and I loved the movie!!! Love the "Twilight" series.
After watching this movie, those of us that were strict Team Edward, have those 'team' boundaries fuzzy and gray. Jacob is wonderful in here, but, of course, Edward is THE man/vampire. =)
I concur with a previous review: the wigs disappointed. Especially Bella's and Esme's.
Loooved the action scenes. Loved the wolves and vampires taking care of Bella and Charlie.
Thoroghly missed RACHELLE LEFEVRE as Victoria.
I am sure that if Edward and Jacob were not vampire/wolf, they would be GREAT friends.

I thought the love story was even more compelling than the first two movies. The scenes with Bella and Edward were hot and steamy! Jacob and Bella scenes weren't too bad either.

I personally thought that this addition to the saga was so far the best. It very closely followed the book's storyline, and the total experience was great. I think the acting could have been better, but it will be like that in all movies considering the actors themselves could have been chosen a lot better.
Overall, the movie was very enjoyable, and I would definitley see it again.

Books made into movies usually disappoint, but this movie was incredible. It had all my favorite parts from the book and it was almost as if a bigger production company was involved, because it was leaps and bounds better than the first two movies. I will be going back soon to watch it again!
