I love the fact that this part was more about bella than anybody else, but for real, its enough already.... they have dragged it to long already, Edward needs to make love to her! this has taken to long and this poor girls is so much in love with him, How long do you think a girl can go with just kissing!!!! My teenage daughter and I read the books together and have seen 2 of 3 of the movies together. We enjoyed the movie. The discussion afterwards about what was included and left out was just like we would do for any other movie based on a novel.

3 was as lame as Parts 1 and 2. They have done a horrible job at conveying the feelings in the books to the big screen in all 3 parts, imo. At the conclusion on Part 3, one of my friends (who didn't read the books), asked "what's so special about Bella?" If I hadn't read the books I would be wondering the same thing. I will not be seeing Part 4 at the theatre...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I will see this movie again. I am going to drag my husband this time. He is not into teen-angst. I have read the books and I do have to say even though a lot was left out all of the major highlights were hit right on the button. The detailed description of relationships and the environment were left out, but how can you explain the look of the four poster bed in a movie. For the record........I am neither team.

First of, I'm not a Twi-hard fan and I've only read the first book which I found painfully written. However, I am a fan of the movies. (Go team Jacob.) Eclipse is full of romance, passion, humor and action. It's the first of the movies where the chemistry between all three main characters were clicking on all cylinders. I enjoyed the dichotomy between Jacob and Edward--the hot blooded vs the cold blooded.
The backstories of some of the Cullen clan was good, added to the plot, and didn't feel shoehorned in. It set up the battle with the evil vamps quite nicely. The fight scenes were pretty awesome considering it was PG-13, and the wolf CGI has gotten much better.
The the tongue-in-cheek dialogue gives this movie it's humor. It's not a parody of the series yet realizes some of the absurdity surrounding the Twilight Fan mayhem.

I was first coaxed by my girlfriend to watch the first Twilight movie. But by the end of the second movie I was sold. We went to a late 3am showing the day it came out and it was pretty good I must say. Visually it as the best one so far in the Twilight Saga. Looking forward to the new movie also.

Best of 3, can't wait for 4 and 5. If you haven't read the books, I highly recommend it. The books add a level of understanding that can't be portrayed in the film. The actors do a fantastic job of bringing out the raw emotion btw Bella/Edward and Bella/Jacob but in my opinion, if I hadn't read the books, I wouldn't have felt as much of the tingling anticipation of those shared moments between the lovers. Of course, the fighting scenes are awesome and a great job on the special effects with the werewolves.

Another success in this series. This installment shows us the maturity of Bella and Edward's relationship. It shows us Edward's strength of character and that of his family. The wolves play a bigger part, and the battle scenes are well done.
More than worth the trip, and you might find you want to go again and then again.

Of all the Twilight saga movies I think this was the best movie so far. However if you haven't read the books or seen the first two movies, a lot of this movie wouldn't make sense. I love the love, vampire, battle stories they take you away from boring old life.
