It was a good rendition of the book. There are a few small differences to make it more pallateable on the big screen, but nothing to big to really change the story we love.

I've read the books, and I loved the books. The first movie was kinda disappointing for me. The second movie was pretty good, but I think they did an Awesome job with Eclipse! Now I can't wait to see what they do with Breaking Dawn. I hope they blow us away! Looking forward to it!

This was excellent as were the first two; however, they did not give enough information about Bree and unless you've read the recently published book you wouldn't have a clue about her. I think the producers/directors should have included the mind to mind communication so viewers would have a better understanding of her part ..... In the meantime, I can't wait for Breaking Dawn to come out.....

For those who feel that the book is always better than the movie would be surprised with this movie. While it kept true to the book it also managed to bring to life parts of the book that were vague. The conversation between Edward and Jacob in the tent was fantastic.

...but it was amazing! I appreciated the fact that they stuck to the book and they did so in the right places. They also did a very good job on providing necessary background sequences for the different characters.
The action scenes weren't cheesy and it was the perfect set up for Breaking Dawn.
Eclipse was definitely the best one yet!

Being a twi-geek, I was really disappointed by the first movie. Then, I saw the second one, and I thought, "Not bad. Although they still need acting lessons." Eclipse, however, is by far the best of the three. I can tell, they finally got someone to do something about Kristen's acting. Still not great, but much improved. The special effects were cool. It's definitely worth watching.

Never thought I'd like a book or movie about vampires to this extent. Boy I was wrong. I've seen the movie 3 times already and it has only been out for 4 days. Each movie has gotten better and better. Definitely not as corny as the first one. Loved it. My husband even admitted that he enjoyed it. Can't wait til the next one....

This movie struck a delicate balance between action and romance. Unlike the previous movies in this series, the movie wasn't inundated with romance, saving the action sequences for the end. It also provided more witticisms for the viewing audience. It was definitely funnier than the previous two. Many reviewers and watchers have said the acting was off, but I thought it was well done all around, including the acting and directing.

Being a huge fan of the books, I obviously HAD to see the movies when they came out! The first one, ehhhhh they did an O.K. job - acting was pretty corny. Second one - yikes, this movie sucked... Third movie - perfect!!!! I loved how they finally fixed the actors' make up and Kristin Stewart must have learned how to act a little better. I was so impressed by the dramatic improvement from New Moon to Eclipse that, once again, I am excited to see the next Twilight movie!

Being a TwiHard Fan I just loved the movie and looking forward to the final two. I read the "Eclipse" in one afternoon and "Breaking Dawn" in 24 hours without sleep! I felt the movie Eclipse kept true to the book which is something I look for in a movie based on a book I know TwiHards will love it as I did and hope they will support by showing up and buying tickets. I PROMISE, you want be disappointed. The love triangle is still heart wrenching, but the ending puts some resolve to that for those who have not read the books. The action is GREAT as well! Recently read "The short second life of Bree Tanner",,,,keep writing Stephanie, you're awesome!!!! I have read the books probably 40 times each and watched the current DVDs' 100, just can't get enough...LOL! I just hate that the Twilight Sage will be coming to an end, because it's such an incredible love story that could go on with Jacob and Renessemee. Hint, Hint.....Siler

This is a movie for only 10-14 year old girls. I am older and read the books and liked them. I did not like the movie. Nothing but posturing and smoldering looks. The CGI's were not even very good. Not worth the trip.

This was a great movie! I am not into this whole "Twilight" craze and hipe... but I enjoyed this movie. I love movies that can focus on real life concepts and situations and make something fantastic packed full of imagination and wonder. I loved how the movie made me think how other people and their lives can really impact the decisions we make. A love triangle is never easy but sometimes in life we must make those hard choices of what we feel is best for ourselves. I liked how bella used a story she heard and applied it to her situation with a little improve. Just go see it !

If you are a twilighter than you will love this movie. They stayed true to the book. Most of the dialogue is taken right from the book. The action scenes were great and of course the loves scenes were romantic. Go Team Jacob!!

I am an avid Twilight fan. I read the book, have seen the movies, go on the fan sites and I can say that this is the better movie of the saga. They introduce some solid new actors and the director did a wonderful job of explaining the back stories of some of the Cullens which I believe was lacking from the first movie. I woudl definately recommend going to see it a few times!

This was a fabulous film for viewers about 13 and older. I've read the books and they really presented the story in eclipse. This was by far the best movie of the three twilight films so far. It may be a little intense and violent for younger ones. This is one of the best movies i've ever seen next to Avatar

Best movie in this saga ever! They did an excellent job of covering what was in the book and this episode was very exciting! Wolves were so cool and the vampires were even more explored in this part. I can't wait for the next one. I will see this again in the theatre and buy the DVD!

I have read all the books and seen the movies. This is by far the best movie of the three. Yes, it may be a bit intense for the little ones, but the screenplay, scene transitions & acting are much better. Anyone who is new to Twilight could fully enjoy this movie without all the background knowledge. Taylor Lautner keeps upping his game in each movie and I think this one belongs to him.
