Much better than the previous "New Moon" in the series for me but I felt the "New Moon" downplayed the second love interest for Bella too much. This movie makes it clear that there really was a deep tie between the three main characters and the story does a good job of giving some background on the history of both sides of this ancient argument that finds Bella in the middle.

Definitely more upbeat and funnier than the past 2 Twilight Saga's. According to my 13 year old, Taylor Lautner was especially "hot" in this movie. My 13 year old would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes/loves the Twilight Saga books. My 13 year old is all Team Jacob. Mommy has become Team Cullen!

awesome! it kept your attention and when it ended it made you want to see the next one. I am tired of the no shirt thing with jacob. Liked the comment from Edward about "don't you own a shirt". Yes he has a great body. Enough already about it.other than that it sticks with the story line. The romance and connection is strong between Edward and Bella which was great to see. the fight scenes were well done. Was a great movie!!!!

I think they did a excellent job, especially with the graphics. I was disappointed that they did not show more about the wolf pack. I think they left out a few things from the book that could of been put into the movies. Overall is was fantastic and I would see it again

Ok, whoever didn't like this movie very obviously did not read the book!Although there were things in the book that there really should have been in the move, it was overall a great film! if you didnt know the plot, you also didnt read the book, and should do so.
Bella and Edward keep you so entranced! Cant wait for Breaking Dawn!! (hopefully they will break that one up in to two movies!)

Having seen the first 2 Twilight movies, I was anxious to see how Eclipse performed. I was not disappointed. This movie was more action-packed and more romantic than the other two. The fights between the New Army and the Cullens/Wolf Pack were exciting and the special effects were great. My only complaint was with Bella. Kristen Stewert continues to play her character as if she is uncomfortable and embarrased to be there.

They keep you waiting for the confrontation between the vampires and the wolves until the very end (the last 30 minutes). The remaining 1 1/2 hours is about Bella confused about Jacob and Edward. Kissing Jacob is the highlight of the first 1 1/2 hour of the movie.

My daughter has been trying to get me to watch the movies or read the books since they first came out...I finally promised her that we would have a Twilight/New Moon weekend. We watched both Twilight & New Moon on DVD...and then bought tickets to see the 10:30 showing of Eclipse....Can't wait to see Breaking Dawn...I'm hooked now.

I really enjoyed this movie! Without giving too much away; I wish the fight scene would have been longer. It was a good date movie a balance of action for the guys and also romance for the girls. I would definately recommend this movie!

Considering the book wasn't that good either, not bad. Kristen Stewart's character is still just a irritating as in the first two. Bad role model for young girls who are seeing this movie. All around bad acting except for by Taylor Lautner who shows a bit of potential, I hope he has more opportunities in the future to do better films. I'll see the fourth one of course, but I'm not looking forward to it.

This was by far the best movie so far! I thought it was done so well. The action scenes were so exciting, the romantic scenes were so touching, and even though I am completely Team Edward, I fell a little more in love with Jacob in this one. I crave seeing it again!

I was disappointed with the movie. It seemed to be a lot of puff and fluff and little plot. To me it didn't get good till the confrontation between the Newbies and the Cullen clan and the wolves. All of that back and forth between Jacob and Edward was juvenile. Bella does have feelings for Jacob and I think she is too stubborn to wait till she is older and more mature to make her eternal decision.

While I like the movies, I've never been impressed with them. They were good representations of the books and they didn't disappoint but I wasn't WOWed. The books so outrocked the movies, which is usually the case. I've never met a movie that outdid it's book counterpart. That being said, Eclipse had to be the best of the three movies. I was finally impressed. My first statement to my fellow movie watchers was, "Our little babies have grown up and gotten acting lessons!" All the slight kinks an inadequacies that were too prevalent in Twilight & New Moon seemed to be happily iron out in Eclipse. Read more on parajunkee.com
