I read the first Twilight book, but did not become a raving fan like my friends. When the movie I really wanted to see was sold out, my friend suggested Eclipse and I rolled my eyes. So I was surprised that this turned out to be a really good film, the story was good, the effects, the acting. Definitely worth seeing.

A super film: strong performances, tight action sequences, excellent pacing, and fidelity with the novel. Kristen Stewart proves she's a talented actress with virtually unlimited potential in this film--see The Runaways for another shining example of her work. Kristen can do more with a glance and a turn of the head than many actresses can do with a full soliloquy. Eclipse should be on every movie fan's must-see summer film list.

These movies are hard to review being someone who has read the entire series and thoroughly enjoyed the books. So yes, I am somewhat jaded because the book will always be better than the movie. That being said, this was a very entertaining movie and gave viewers a better look into the individuals of the Cullen family which helps foster a stronger connection to them all instead of just the leads. I'd see this one again.

Eclipse tops the last two Twilight Saga movies. It stayed truer to Stephanie's book and the acting and filming was far better. My only small complaint is the movie was too short.
Many scenes that i fell in love with from Stephanie's book were not emphasized like they should have been.
Regardless, it was amazing to see my second favorite book of the saga on the big screen. It def. held up to my expectations and I have seen it more than once and watching it on IMAX is a must!

This was honestly one of the best movies ever! Defently the BEST Twilight movie so far probably overall. If the Breaking Daw is even 10% better then Eclipse it will be to awesome for words. Don't have any doubts about seeing it, it's amazing!

I loved this movie! It was my favorite out of the three! I have seen this movie 3 times in theaters, and every time i watch it i just get so wrapped up in it! I can't wait for Breaking Dawn, i am happy its going to be in two parts but i hope the actors stay the same throughout! I love this film and recommend it for everyone!! TEAM EDWARD!!!

i thought it was better than the first ones; actually had funny scenes in it and the vamps were less 'dramatic' than in the first ones. brought characters that were in the background to life in eclipse
