This movie did not meet my expectations. I have not read the novels, but since my wife loves the series (both book and novels), I decided to see the series with her. At times, I found my self predicting what was going to happen, and what they were going to say. I believe the acting could have been better from some of the actors, but the upside was the seemless special effects.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This was the best one by far!!!!!!!!! Both me and my sister were able to connect our lives a lot more in this one than the others!!!!! and the movie was intense!!!!!!

Great movie. Writer and Director seemed in a rush to get to the fight scene. Yes book has alot of detail but movie seemed to have maybe four minutes per chapter. Should have put more detail into the beginning of movie instead of bits of the chapters here and there. Alot of the story line was missing or done differently. Character detail should match previous movies a little better.

I had high hopes for this movie since Eclipse was my favorite book in the series. Thankfully the movie did not disappoint. The acting was good. Action sequences were great and the chemistry of Bella/Edward and Bella/Jacob was awesome. I'm still Team Edward all the way though. The only complaint that I have is I found it a little choppy compared to the book. Other than that it was the best movie in the series so far!

I saw this movie twice again like I did with New Moon last year. I loved it! Some graphics had to catch my eye the second time around to be more convincing, however now I understand why the scenes looked the way they did. I loved how the stories of individual characters from the book are related in the movie! Lots more action in Eclipse and the scenes with Bella and Jacob were so sweet, sincere and keep you wondering for what will happen with them, even if Edward is her true love. Humor and digital animation was on key. I liked the old Victoria better. Hopefully no other characters are changed. Can't wait to purchase tickets for Nov. 2011!

I was voting team Edward all the way...but after seeing this movie the chemistry between Jacob and Bella have me voting for team Jacob! They needed to have more romantic scenes with Jacob and Bella...it was cut too short with just a "kiss"...wanting more to happen between them.

To all of those who have read all the books, Eclipse blows the first 2 movies out if the water! I loved it and would go pay to go see it again!! the action scenes were amazing. Even my boyfriend who I drag out to see all the twilight movies with me actually liked it!!

This is the best the director has done out of the 3 movies, It showed the main parts and wasn't quite as choppy as the other movies. I would like to see it flow better together and stick closer to the story line and show the romance the books portray, but it is by far the best. If you haven't read the books he movie is great!

Eclipse was a welcome chapter to the Twilight Saga. New Moon left us bored. Eclipse leaves us energized with increased detail from all the characters and better acting from Kristen and Rob. We are looking forward to Breaking Dawn!

This movie was one of the best part's of the Twilight movie's. I found it to have a great story line, and it was filled with great action, drama, and a great love story. I have read all the books, and really can't wait for " Brakeing Dawn" however I hope they don't split it up into two movies I think that would be over board.

I loved the movie, But I would have liked to see more of the detail of the book. Like when Roselle told her story they were supposed to be holding Bella, against her will, in the Cullen's home,and When Jasper told his story I thought there was more detail in the book. The Movie did follow the book but not in the detail I would have liked.
