For the most part, i enjoyed the movie. there were a few scenes that were completely different from the book that i didn't like. but overall the movie was good.

Thought this movie was great, but since I read the books twice I was a little dissapointed in the missing dialog betweeen Bella and Jacob.

Overall this was an excellent movie. Everything was great except the relationship between Belle and Eduard. I had difficulty feeling their connection this time around. It was very downplayed in comparison to the previous installment. The connection between her and Jacob, on the other hand, was very believable and perhaps that is what the director intended. Again, it was an excellent continuation of the saga. I can't wait until the next one!

I am going to go see the movie again... Like the two previous movies the writers stayed extremely close to the book (which is great). I am looking forward to when Breaking Dawn is released.

The movies just keeps getting better and better. The action in this movie is unbelievable, and the Bella, Edward, Jacob love triangle gets even stronger. I highly recommend this movie, and am thrilled to see if they can top this movie in Breaking Dawn.

but still not great. Wasn't a fan of this book to begin with but it was a needed gateway to the get to my favorite, Breaking Dawn.
Some of the scenes were actually better in the movie than the book. The dialog between Edward and Jacob in the tent while Bella is sleeping is a great example of that.
If you're a fan go see it, if not wait for it to come on network TV.

I watched the 1st 2 movies and thought they were better. I think I expected a little more from this movie. A little more drama I guess. We all knew she wasnt leaving Edward for Jacob. I felt like this movie was part of a TV series. But none the less it was still pretty good and entertaining. Jacob is still HOT!!

Eclipse was great! Can't wait to see again. The emotion and love for Bella that Edward shows in this movie is so real that is takes your breath away. You can tell that Rob really has deep feeling for Kristen.

okay! i love the twilight saga books and the last 2 movies but i thought that in eclipse they missed out some some details but unfortunately those small details were extremely important and should have been transferred to the movie. the details kind of changed to story and they also missed big scenes from the book as well. I know that you can't make the movie exactly like the book, but out of all 3 of the movies this movie is the most not like the book. It was good but i would have to say i was disappointed.
But if you did not read the books...then you will love the movie

Loved the movie! In my opinion it is better than New Moon but not quite as good as Twilight. I wish the movie would have explored more back stories for characters like Bree Tanner but in the movies things are different as there are time restrictions. In my opinion as a whole they did a great job on this movie. There was still a nice amount of backstory on the main chatacters though, and lots of action and suspense. Just go see it already, or see it again! :)

The direction of this movie was perfect thanks to David Slade, and the fight sequences were great along with the acting, and it was the best out of all 3 movies.

But I really enjoyed Eclipse. I saw the first movie and did not make it to the second. A friends daughter filled me in on what happened in the second movie right before we went to see Eclipse. She did a good job because I didn't have any problem following the show.
Great show and I am actually looking forward to the next one.

When you go to see a movie like Eclipse, you don't expect groundbreaking cinema. Perhaps if you're a masochist, you expect a cohesive story, good acting and hi-tech special effects. That would be silly to expect.
At the very least, you expect to see a few dudes with their shirts off and some really pained expressions of longing. Eclipse does not disappoint on this most latter front.
Let's be real. Any review of this movie is irrelevant. It won't change the fact that Eclipse the movie equivalent of Justin Bieber. So, yeah, good, bad.. whatever. Just try to see it for free, if you can, so the only thing you have to give up are 2 hours and 4 minutes of your life that you will never get back.

I have found each episode of Twilight has gotten better. Needless to say, I thought Twilight Eclipse was an excellent movie. It had romance, confrontation, battle and romance again. It would recommend it to others and will see it again myself.

Fantastic movie! I've all three movies in the Twilight saga with my step-grandchildren and enjoyed them immensely.
I don't read the books, so I'm able to enjoy the movies for themselves and find them to be well-acted, with stylish production values and in the case of the Eclipse and the original Twilight movie, the soundtracks are GREAT! The casting is spot on and the chemistry among the actors is apparent.
I missed the original Victoria, but thought Bryce Dallas Howard did the best she could with a role that had a "built in" fan base.
Overall, a great way to spend the afternoon and I'll be buying the DVD for my home collection.

I Think it was still a good movie, but it could have been better. I think New Moon is the best of the Saga so far. Eclipse just kinda annoyed me. It felt like they went of the story line to me a bit and didn't put as much emphasis on parts I felt had impact in the book.
