The characters are stronger and more believable. This is so Taylor Lautner's movie...he ruled it. I almost wanted to switch teams. Can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed this chapter in the Twillight series. A nice job was done creating the tension between Jake, Bella, and Edward as Bella chose who she wanted. The slight touch of the Volturi was good enough to build to the next movie where their involvement peaks. I would definitely recommend this movie.

As a fan of the books and the actors themselves in the Twilight Saga, I had very high expectations for this movie. I felt as though the first half of the movie was like a giant montage of movie trailers. The scenes were amazing, but they all just seemed randomly placed without a transition from one scene to another. However, eventually the movie hit it's "stride" and had killer battle scenes and just the right emotion from the characters to make you feel sympathy for them. I would recommend this to a movie fan for sure, but the book fans may be just a little disappointed.

3rd time's a charm.....and this is NO exception! Eclipse has everything a movie goer could want in a movie....action.....suspense....emotions. All of the characters even LOOK better in this movie. The intense feelings that Bella has for both of her men is clearly shown. The wolf pack has expanded and is getting better as well. The back stories of Rosalie and Jasper fit well into place also.
I would definitely watch this movie over and over again...and would recommend it to EVERYONE...Twilight saga fan or not!

Sorry to say I was pretty disappointed - enjoyed the first 2 so had expectations that weren't met - despite some great fight scenes & hot looking actors/actresses this film fell short - even the cinematography was mediocre & inconsistent - saw it at a crowded midnight showing - people were laughing at some of the acting/dialogue that was not intended to be funny & yelling things (do it already -bite her etc)- some must have been bored because they were texting/checking email which is a major annoyance to me - a bright screen in a darkened theater is really distracting and rude yet people ignore the requests to stop & no usher around to complain/too crowded to move to another seat means you just have to put up with it - not worth staying up til 2:30 in the am - rather watch a repeat of True Blood
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I would SO recommend Eclipse to others. I have been waiting since after I watched New Moon for Eclipse to come out. Cannot wait for Breaking Dawn to come out. It was SO worth the wait.
I will be sad at this point no. No more Edward, Bella, of the Cullens. I have truly enjoyed these movies. My fav, I have never been to another midnight showing other than to watch the Twilight movies.

I really liked the movie. I think out of the others that have been made, this one followed the book the most. The actors also did a much better job, especially the actor that plays Jasper. The battle seen was also very well scripted. I am soooo ready for Breaking Dawn to come out!

My daughter and I went to the sold out midnight showing last night and we loved it! It was worth the few hours of sleep we lost. Each movie of the series keeps getting better. We can not wait to see Breaking Dawn.

This was by far the best movie of the series so far. I have read all 4 books, plus Midnight Sun and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, and this movie did not need the knowledge from the books, it helped, but was not needed. I thought Twilight was my favorite, but this movie had more passion, action, accuracy than either Twilight or New Moon.
I saw it opening night and I am going again on Friday. If I could have stayed and watched it again immediately I would have.

This is by far the best of the Twilight movies. They did an excellent job of condensing the book into movie form - all of the important parts are there and you don't leave feeling as though you missed anything.

It was ok,I never read the books so I don't know about the details.I thought the first one has been the best so far,Based on the trailers I had seen for this one I expected more action.The best and worst thing about this movie is all the history revealed,it is need to know I guess to better understand the whole story but it gets pretty boring.

I saw it last night in the IMAX and I think Eclipse is the better of the three movies so far. There was a lot of overacting in the first two that made it seem so over dramatic and corny, but it seems that the actors have been coached better this time around and were able to produce something you are able to watch without laughing at inapropriate times. I really liked that it followed the book more closely than the first two. I'm def going to buy it when it comes out. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn to come out :) I'll be there at midnight :)....again...

Eclipse was the best movie out of the twilight saga yet!!!! The large amounts of romance and action made the movie well balanced and exciting. The cgi wolves looked real when they were near the cullens, bella, and the rest of the vampires. The movie was interesting the whole way through never leaving you to wonder "When does this end?". I loved it. I reccomend all fans see this movie!!!!

It was action packed and had lots of intense moments (which I LOVED), but there was still some poor acting and a couple of corny parts. Would still recommend it to any Twilight fan. I read all of the books, (this one was definitely my favorite), and the movie followed the book very well. Hoping for better acting (and better wigs) in Breaking Dawn.

The movie was great of course, but it felt too rushed. They cut out too much of the book to try and squeeze it into the time frame. Also I would have like to seen more of the story from Bree's book rolled in there to. Oh well, with the 2 parts of Breaking Dawn coming up, hopefully they will make up for it.

I think this was the best movie out of the series so far, the action was great and of course the love story was amazing also. If you've read the books before the movie you will be pleased because it followed the book almost exactly, so no disappointments there. Although I was really confused why the vampires turned to glass/plaster when they died.....it sounded like light bulbs breaking (it just didn't make sense). Other than that I was VERY umpressed with this movie. Can't wait to see Breaking Dawn!

Went to the midnight showing of Eclipse. It is far and away the best movie so far. I was anxious about this one, because it was my favorite book of the four.
The action scenes were great, particularly the Edward/Victoria/Seth/Riley scene toward the end. CGI on the wolves was much better than New Moon. Kristen & Rob's acting is still shaky and their make-out scenes are awkward still.
The best part? They did not compromise Jasper & Rosalie's back-stories. They were both very well done and I'm glad they made the cut.
Overall, loved it - will probably go see it again...

I love all the books and went to the Twilight premier and was highly disappointed at that movie. The second was better, but still was lacking. This movie was very good! It changed a few details, left out some stuff and tried to mash in things in a slightly different order but that is for time constraints, so I understand. It followed the book well and had much better feeling and acting! It's a definite go see!

Fans have been waiting 9 months for this movie so they will NOT be disappointed. Great storytelling and close to the book (they changed the chronological order of many events to make the movie work). The bluescreen/snowy ridge fakeness was almost unbearable. It didn't even look cold. That bugged me. But of course... I loved the movie because I love the stories and characters.
