I've seen all 3 Twilight movies and this one is flows way to fast unlike the other ones where it was a slow and steady pace. I felt rushed right from the beginning. I was also disappointed that original Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) was replaced.
Can someone please explain why in 3 does Rosalie has jet black eye brows that just stand out with her pale white skin and blonde hair are you telling me the director didn't notice that COME ON. I just think 3 could of been better Although I'm a fan of twilight I would of like to have saved my money and saw it on HBO (no I didn't read the books I didn't want it to take away from the movies)

Having read the all the books (multiple times) I was happy/sad about this movie. Yes, it at times, faithfully follows the book. However, major plot points were missing or completely messed up. The over all feel of the movie is that it was rushed and the director knew but didn't "get" the material. The action sequence were cool and Jasper's back story, while abbreviated, was adequate. Rosalie's back story and her retelling was completely screwed up. SPOILER ALERT (Why would Bella call her from the island after that?) Also the Bella didn;t have near enough Jacob angst, especially after the fight. Now the Volturi "add-on", while not in the book, does help w/ some of the back story missing from the other two movies. I could go on, but you get the idea. Good contact and well hit, but no way near a home run.

Best acting so far, better make-up, great interpretation of the book. Fans won't be disappointed with this one, except maybe with the actress change for the character Victoria, but minor issue in an otherwise great film.

I enjoyed Eclipse very much. I always re-read the book prior to the movie coming out. By far, this one follows it's book the best. Riley and the vamp army is intense and their entrance into Forks was awesome! Just curious though...why does Jasper always have such funky hair? Hoping that will improve for Breaking Dawn.

This was the best of the three so far. I read all of the books...and was slightly upset with how the previous movies weren't as true to the book as they should have been. This movie is very close to the book, and Pattinson and Stewart totally grasped the concept this time. The acting didn't seem amateur like the first two. All of the actors were much better in this film. The passion was there, the anger, the love, all of it was visible, you can feel it. VERY HAPPY with this film.

These movies just keep getting better and better. The actors are really growing as they progress through the series. Rob Pattinson really stepped his game up in this movie and definitely out-acted the other two stars completely. And I'm not just saying that as a Team Edward member ;-) The fight scenes were breathtaking and the scenes between Edward and Bella keep getting more touching. I love how much they are still sticking to the books...way more actual quotes from the book in Eclipse. I loved it. I'm seeing it again tonight and then again when I go on vacation next week. Cannot wait! Keep em coming Summit!

So I will admit I am a fan of the Twilight Saga...not one that is die hard - I can see flaws in the first two films. However this movie surpassed all expectations and beyond. It had drama, suspense, romance and what I enjoyed most of all was understanding the core characters so much more! Which of course is in the books, so you wonder is it going to be portrayed accurately and I have to say that the filmmakers did this fan proud....I can't wait to see it again!

Eclipse was an action filled book, with a more mature feel than the other two, but I feel that it didn't translate in to film, as well as I would have liked. The violence in this movie was intense, and as an adolescent, scared me, so I can only imagine how some of the younger movie-goers felt. Also, the sexuality was a bit too amped up this time around. Bella and Edward are in love, but this just got a bit raunchy. All in all, this was my least favorite movie, but for fans of the book, it stays true to the book, so they will enjoy.

I'm a huge adult Twilight fan, but I have to admit - this movie missed the mark.. Way to much makeup used..The vamps are suppose to be beautiful - they were to chalky looking..an odd looking. Also felt that to much of the book was packed in a short amount of time..that provided snippets instead of a complete movie script...

If you're a fan of either the Twilight series books or the previous movies, you have to see this one, the best yet. With each movie the characters are getting more and more into the story ... and it was great to see both Rosalie and Jaspar further developing their characters on screen. The action was good, the romance was great, and this movie followed the book fairly well. If you're not into the series, don't go to the movie, I think you'd be lost a bit ... but if you've at least seen the previous two movies, be sure to see this one!!!

I think this movie was the best in the series so far. It had a good mix of romance, comedy, and action. The unfortunate thing about it being only two hours long is that I think there could have been some portions of the story line that could have been played out longer that would have been appealing to the audience. For instance, a little more of the love triangle stuff, but it was well done in that the essence of the book was portrayed in the movie.

This was a great movie. I have seen all three and this was my favorite. It deviated from the book slightly but the main context was there. It is so hard to match a book to a movie but this came as close as I think they could come without the movie being 4 hours long. Love the addition of the Seattle gang. Great proposal scene. Hot. I am so looking forward to BD.

They have done a wonderful job with this movie! I love the other two just because of what they are but Eclipse by far is the best as far as action and the acting in general. The cast has grown alot and they own their characters more and more with every film. Way to go! Job well done.
