Eclipse definitely impressed me, I did not expect it to be that good. After the last movie I was a little worried, but this movie was very well done. Between the action, the romance, and the rivalry this movie gave you a little bit of everything a fan of twilight would want to see. I definitely recommend this to any twilight fan I truly believe the fans will enjoy this movie and will leave wanting to know more for breaking dawn.

I loved the film for its in depth storyline. However, I would like to warn parents that little ones should not see this movie as there is quite a bit of violence depicted. I found the film action packed and the characters had more depth then the previous Twilight movies. The acting in this film was also much better than the other two films.

This was definitely the best of the 3 movies. There was plenty of action and an obvious love triangle. I walked away from the movie feeling that it stuck closest to the books of the three movies. I found Edward to be more believable this time around which made the movie much better, but Bella could still use some emotion.

LOVED IT !!!!! It may not be an exact copy of the story as portrayed in the book but it got the key points of the story and overall the film was excellent. The actors did an awesome job. I am dying for the next 2 films and thats 18 months away ......I think even non Twilight fans will enjoy this movie there is tons of really good effects and action sequences that will surprise most who think its all some sappy story...I already can not wait to see it again..lol

I did the Twilight Experience and see all three movies lastnight. This was a AWESOME movie. I have seen all three and this was my favorite. It deviated from the book slightly but the main context was there. It is so hard to match a book to a movie but this came as close as I think they could. Great proposal scene and tent scene.
I wish they played out the whole Bella/Jacob scene after Jacob is injured longer. I wanted to see her cry and really feel the pain that is descibed in book. I would also have liked to see Jacob's changing and running off to from his pack to get a way!

I wasn't too impressed with the previews and was afraid I'd be a little disappointed by the movie. However, it was awesome. Some scenes were a little to mature for younger audiences though. The acting was superb and it was a great movie.

As an older viewer and nonreader of the books (I'd rather wait until I've seen all of the movies before reading the books) I was impressed, I loved the movie, especially the backgrounds on some of the vampires. It was nice seeing the lives they had before being turned. I was hoping to see more interaction between Bella and Jacob and it didn't let me down; finally addressing the obvious fact that she is in love with both of the guys. It does have a somewhat more adult theme running throughout but it is to be expected and wasn't out of line or thrown in gratuitously. Eclipse is a definite go see!

Like many others, I have to work in the morning, but little sleep was so well worth-it to get to see the midnight premiere of this film. I really feel like the characters are getting better. The acting doesn't feel as forced, and they aren't deliving the lines like every word out of their mouth is some epic, breathy statement. The actors as a whole have really grown into their characters, and it shows. The movie was great, and stayed pretty true to the book, obviously some parts were cut out, and things were hurried along a bit, but I didn't feel like I was being rushed. Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) did an excellent job, I could really see the "Southern General" come out. I really enjoyed this movie, and I would highly reccomend it!

as an older, "twilight saga" fan... i was interested in finally seeing a little more passion on screen between the characters and this definitely did that. awesome effects and the story line was good. didn't follow the book too much but just enough to understand what was going on and remember back to the parts of the book, while being delightfully suprised in the theater. AWESOME movie. worth the thousands of screaming tweens. :)

The more and more I see Kristen Stewart in the role of Bella, the more I am disappointed in her acting. I was a little disappointed that some of the major scenes in the book were changed. I was happy to see more of the other characters and was happy with the overall fel of the movie. It makes me excited for Breaking Dawn. David Slade did a great job. Oh, one more thing.......HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! No more god awful wigs PLEASE!!!!

The books are amazing, and these movies are portraying them perfectly. Eclipse is by far the best movie yet. The acting and action have both gotten tremendously better. The triangle between the three starts to seriously become well understood and you can feel all the emotions throughout the movie. Definitely recommend it! Go see it ASAP.

I love that it had funny, action, and serious moments. Loved the tent scene. Defenitly have to cover little ones eyes once and awhile, but it goes along with the book for the most part. I think that it will make Breaking Dawn hard to stay Pg13 like they want to. Cant wait to see it again. :)

Movie was AWESOME......I'm a parent of an 8 year old her dad actually got her hooked. I wasn't really into the movies. I did watch them and the third is the best. Got to see it. Riley loved it. She is on team Edward even after seeing Jacob all buff LOL I tried to switch her..........no way Edward does have a way when he looks at you.

Thank god they got rid of Hardwicke!! The last two movies have been great...seriously, I wish they would remake the first one..the fans deserve it :)
Makeup was better in this one...acting on the parts of everyone except KS were great...I'm not sure how she became an actress, honestly...
But the special effects..the music...the screenplay were amazing...great great job and thank you for not disappointing your more than loyal fans!

This was a disappointment. Everything was rushed, choppy, and out of order. They really butchered the book. They didn't even have the Alice kidnapping Bella under Edwards request. The whole plot of the book was altered and it was annoying. They just kept jumping around to new scenes that really didn't flow together. It's also annoying that they continue to make Edward a whimp. In the book, he was not able to be attacked or hit because he was always one step ahead of his attacker because he could read their minds! Why do they keep ignoring this fact and making him look bad?? Also, Bella didn't cut her arm in the end battle! Stupid. I hate it when they can't stay true to the book. I realize these books are long, but stop adding pointless plots and just do what is in the book as best you can. Disappointing movie.

Went to midight showing, which was entertaining as a spectacle, but didn't enjoy movie as much as previous two. Taylor Lautner continues to smolder on the screen but Kristin Stewart's awkward mannerism are wearing thin. Also, it was too weird for a high-school senior to be talking about marriage and begging for intimacy from her boyfriend! Violence was comparable to previous vamp flicks - and interesting to hear back stories of Cullen clan.
