Best out of all the Twilight movies. My boyfriend even enjoyed the fight scenes, to be honest was irritated by me yelling Jacob the first time he was on the screen shirtless.

They did a fairly good job as far as the book goes, a few of the scenes were even what I would expect coming out of the new book The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner which happens in the time frame of Eclipse. Some of the events seemed a little rushed but all in all it was a good movie, especially if you've been seeing the movies without reading the books.

Personally, the original twilight is still my favorite- and def my favorite Edward (in so many ways, including wardrobe). This movie was a bit racier and reflected director David Slade with the more mature undertones. It felt like so much crammed into 2 hours- and some scenes from the book- such as bella being mad at Edward more than once- were cut, but i understand why. hopefully we wont face so much chopping with BD. Like many have said, the make up and wigs- even costume- was sketchy at best- Jasper in particular. I couldnt take his terrible southern drawl and crazy eyes seriously. i busted out laughing numerous times. and Elizabeth Reeser is a beatiful lady, but she looks ridiculous in this film. Rose's look was an epic improvement from NM (and Twilight) and NM Alice's wardrobe could ONLY get better. I will say, though, that Taylor Lautner didnt make me want to punch him as much in this movie, like the other ones (despite his decrease in overall size)... or like the book. and for the love of all that is sparkly, stop complaining about BDH (Rachelle Lefevre WASNT that great) and re-cast Michael Welch. He is gross. and his lines are making it worse. C'mon Rosenburg- you do DEXTER for crying out loud- BD is the last HOORAH!!! let's loose the uber cheesy dialouge.... you could make it musical (or silent film) and people would pay ridic amounts of money to see it... please!!!!

The movie went by fast.. It was pretty good..but for readers there was alot of key points missed.. If you aren't a reader then you aren't going to understand imprinting as much. I was not impressed with the vampire make up.. they all look like they are sick rather than beautiful..especially Edward..the stories about the other vampires, and last but not least what happened to the wedding invitation to Jacob at the end????.. Other than that the movies was good.. It heald my attention..it got intense, but was very funny at times.

The dialogue was terrible. Acting over the top, blame the directing. The make-up was lacking. The cinematography...great cutaways but awful narrative shots. Soundefx and score were as if they went to a different movie. The wardrobe, props and cg were all great!
To summarize the film
ECU on everyone, cheesy lines, mountain shot. ECU of everyone and Jacob doesn't have a shirt.
If you're going to fail at an adaptation this is a perfect example of how to do it.

I am a hugh Twilight fan having read all the books more than once. I went to the midnight triple feature and thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the films again on the big screen. I thought Eclipse was excellent! It is so difficult to fit all the material in these books into a two hour film but I think that all the important things were included in this movie. The actors again brought the story to life. Great job all around!

Twilight: The Eclipse was everything you can expect from a teenage love story chick flick. Though the special effects were pretty cool. The love triangle between the 3 characters was a bit more mature for this dad to be watching with his teenage daughter. All in all wasn't too bad just cool enough for guys to even watch. LOL

Loved it... I am going to see it again this week with some more friends who haven't seen it yet. I loved it... the romance in this movie just keeps getting better and better. I waited in line for 5 hours to see the midnight showing of this and well worth the wait. :) I love Edward and Bella together, they are an awesome couple. Not looking forward to waiting so long for the two part ending of this series though.. it's just to long to wait.

Im a new Twighlight watcher and I just caught up on the firs two movies. Went to Midnight showing last night and I was pleasantly suprised!! I thought it was the best of the three movies and the actors didnt annoy me as much in this film. You can see their budget is larger, better writing and better special effects.

In my opinion, this was the best movie in the saga. The characters seemed to be in the groove for their acting. Robert Pattinson seemed to be lacking in the other two, because in the books, Edward was more playful, and I think he nailed it. As for Taylor Lautner (don't get me started.... i am team Taylor and Team Jacob) he did ahhhhhmazing. He channels Jacob well, and thats essential for any actor.

This movie was by far the best so far. Robert Patinson was wonderful he looked great and the Cullens looked fabulous. I did not hoever like the new Victoira. She was not beilevable at all. I can not wait for Breaking Dawn 1. I cant imagine what it is going to be like.

From the opening scene to the end, what a great adaptation! Of course, not everything from the third installment of The Twilight Saga could be packed into the movie, but I thought it was overall pretty good and true to the book. Eclipse was dark, intense and full of action. I enjoyed seeing more of the Cullens this time around and wow, did Jacob look HOT or what? Eclipse sets up Breaking Dawn beautifully and I can't wait to own the DVD and add it to my collection!
