Big fan of the books! Had high expectations, but was a little worried about scenes with the newborns in Seattle since the book is Bella's perspective. However, for those of you worried about that, I think it was done very well. Just enough so non-readers arent confused, but no too much to ruin it.
The beginning seemed very rushed as I was watching it, but considering the size of the book, I think they did a fine job cutting out the not so important stuff. But, this is probably what made it seem to not flow so well at the start.
But overall very well done and I cant wait for the 2 parts of Breaking Dawn!

was an awesome movie, I think it topped both twilight and new moon. it had a lot of memorable quotes, intense scenes not only fight scenes, but love scenes as well. was the perfect mix of action, romance, and really covered the book in depth.

As the third movie in the franchise, I felt it was hands-down the best one thus far. I loved the increased romance and connection between Robert and Kristen - for the first time I could really sense the chemistry, and there was a lot of it. The movie was exciting, funny, and true to the book. David Slade did an excellent job!

Maybe it's the hype created by the midnight showing, getting caught up in the spirit of excitement, but i couldn't fight the overwhelming urge to clap and whoot when Edward and Jacob verbally sparred. It will never hold the same magic as the books, and these will never be quality movies or books, but at least they are entertaining.

This was by far the best movie of the 3 made. This movie held the closest story line to the book and was very well delivered by all actors involved. (Was not disappointed with the switch of Victorias character so that was a great bonus!) In this book/movie the characters are progressing into maturity and while there is a little more physical involvement (aka making out) there was no skin shown. (Minus the whole Jake with no shirt!) It was tastefully done just as the author Stephanie had written it. While I would not let a young child go see it, an older teenager could see it with no problem. I was extremely happy at the directors take on this- it was the best translation of book to movie I have seen in quite sometime!

I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!! IT WAS DEFINATELY THE BEST OUT OF THE THREE!!!! I FELL IN LOVE WITH ROBERT PATTINSON AS EDWARD EVEN MORE THAN I ALREADY AM AND I DID NOT THINK THAT WAS POSSIBLE. THE VAMPIRES AND THE WOLVES JOINING TOGETHER TO PROTECT BELLA WAS AWESOME!!! IT WAS ALSO VERY HUMEROUS AND EXTREMELY ROMANTIC AT THE SAME TIME. I LOVED IT BEST MOVIE EVER!!!

This movie was my favorite of the three so far. I thought it was great how they added some humor into it. I think the fight scene was very good and exciting. I have not read to books so I don't know how true to the books the movie was. I would definatly recommend that everyone go see it.

Took my fourteen year old daughter and her friend to this at midnight. I am not really a fan as I am forty but this was a good movie for teens and young adults. This was a bit more mature so I advise maybe 12 years or older as for viewing age.

Over all the movie was good. As always though movies never do the books any justice. Would have like to have seen the scene from the book where Edward gives Bella the helmet and jacket for her motorcycle. The bikes were barely used in the movie. Would have loved it if the director elaborated more on Rosalie and Jasper's story. He did not touch on Emmett or Esme's storyline at all. She barely spoke throughout the movie. Would have like more details true to the book from the proposal and ending scene in the meadow. Overall I suppose good for condensing all of the info into hrs!

This movie was the first of the first three books to actually follow the dialogue of the books. I was very impressed with the directing and the difference was fabulous. Everything from the field to the battle was just fasinating. 10 stars if I could.

I am a very big fan of the Twilight series and the two last books especially are my favorites. I think of because the movies is only 2 hours long, some of the scenes I wish could have been longer. They in some way felt rushed, but it did stay very close to the books. I can not help to say that this movie did not capture the full essences of the book to me. Please do not get me wrong the movie was very good I loved it, in fact and I plan to see it again. It did not fully in body the essence of the book to me( just that something missing). But all the elements was there. I still very much enjoyed it!!!

Eclipse was my favorite book in the series and this film exceeded my expectations. Best film yet in the Twilight saga. David Slade did a wonderful job. The action and CGI was awesome! I'd recommend this film as a must see! Absolutely loved it!

The movie was good, although seemed like a lot put in too short of time. What I enjoyed most is Jacob ran around without a shirt almost the entire movie. The relationship between Bella and Edward becomes more and more enchanting. I hope they take the time and make the next two movies a litle more careful with the details it deserves

The book was my favorite of the series and the movie held up to that. Though they left out some parts, as I know not everything can be put into the movie, I feel this was the best adaptation yet. The action scenes were amazing and its cool to know that some actors actually did their own stunts. The love scenes were a little much for some guys, but overall I give it 5 stars! Excellent work! Can't wait to see it again!

I read some other reviews before making my own, and I do agree with some of them, that this one may be a bit more mature. But it was still good. However, if the viewers are of the younger age range, depending on if they read the book, how they pictured the battle scences and the romantic scences, this is an excellent movie to go to.

I have been very pleased with all of the Twilight movies. They follow the books which is a rare thing for movies. Stephanie Meyers must be so proud. Each move gets better and better. I loved Eclipse and also plan to purchase this one when it comes out on DVD. It had romance, humor, suspense. I would recommend this movie with no hesitation.

The latest installment of the Twilight Saga was directed by director David Slade who also directed 30 Days of Night and Hard Candy. So you would think it would be a good fit, right? No! Eclipse was laden with scenes that had no pay off and seemed both hurried and lingering. There was no proper build up to the final fight scene with Victoria and the romance felt forced and strained. The film needed and overall hall to the script and definitely could use a new edit.

The movie was good, it satisfied an obsession. I thought all of the Bella closeups were a bit much and the makeup was a little over the top. The vampires were too white and chalky looking! Jacob being shirtless the entire movie kinda desensitized you to the awesomeness of his body and it wasnt as exciting the fourth and fifth time seeing him in this movie. Over all I thought the movie was a bit slow and when it was over I thought "thats all we got!" If youre a Twilight fan I guess it doesnt really matter because you know you'll be there standing in line for the next one!
