I thought Eclipse was well done! They stayed mostly true to the book through the movie - only a few things that I would have liked to have seen left out. Of course they added a few things that weren't in the book that helped the movie flow well for those that haven't read the books. Over all a job well done. Will go see it again this weekend!

I'm still not a fan of the stilted conversations between Bella and Edward, it seems almost like they're passing the mike between them instead of genuinely have a chat. But Rob's emotional intensity is definitely increasing! Jake is getting better too... although he seems less buff in this third installment than the second. Still pretty hot though. I liked the Bree Tanner. Work on the dialogue! I think it's the script writter's fault!

Awesome movie, nothing beats the books but this one was the closest yet. Things were flip flopped, really good parts left out....it didn`t help that i just finished re-reading the book:) It was DEFINITELY worth the loss of sleep! Cannot wait until Breaking Dawn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This third segment is just as, if not more compelling to see ... it gives just enough to make you want to keep coming back. Who will Bella choose? Edward or Jake? Or will she she be bound to both the rest of her life or immortality? I highly recommend that you see the first two movies ... Twlight and New Moon before you see Eclipse ... it puts everything into perspective.

the movie was pretty good even though a lot didnt match the book, just like the last movie. i wish that they would have done more with the rosalie story and had more interaction with charlie like in the book. i felt they didnt have much of the vacation to jacksonville either.

This was the best movie in the series yet! The actors all apparently 'grew' up between filming New Moon and Eclipse and really portrayed their characters much more realistically, with obvious comfort and ease. Their acting styles were much more believable as characters this time around! Kristen Stewart was phenominal, portraying a very real version of an anguished Bella, and Taylor Lautner has most definitely grown in to his character as a man fighting for his true love. We see a ton more action from Edward as well! All around, two thumbs WAY up!!!!

Awesome movie!! I was tired arriving at the theater, but not after the movie started. Wow the movies just keep getting better. Deffinately would not want to be Bella, how do you choose between 2 unbelieveable guys. The love in this movie is incredible. Cannot wait for the next movie!! As touted, this was the best of the three in terms of pace, excitement, intensity & humor. The opening scene was terrific. The CGA effects were much better, you could tell there was more money to make this one. Definitely worth the late night hour.

The MOVIE was good, but the Book was GREAT. The Big screen did a good job bringing out what we read, but there were still parts where we felt shorted. The fight was very nice to SEE play out, but I really wonted it to be a bit longer. It was much too easy for them to kill the new borns. other than that, I really liked the movie.

If you are a Twilight fan then of course this movie is going to be great for you. I love all the movies but I am always left with the feeling of them leaving good details out and felt they rushed to put the movie together. In reality, I understand they have a budget and can only make a movie so long. The books are 100 times better. I thought Eclipse would be a little better than the others since all the hype everywhere and the money the movies have brung it.... but it didn't really WOW me. Maybe because I have read all the books and knew what to expect? Not sure. Overall I still really liked it and recommend it. Maybe Breaking Dawn will impress everyone a little better.

Movie stayed close to the novel as well as The Short Second Life of Bree. There was lots of action with of course, more love triange tension. It's my favorite of the three in the series, also has better music!

I definitiely think the franchise gets better and better as they go. This one didn't have nearly as much awkwardness as the last two. There was even comedy and some really good one-liners. And actually, the action scenes were really good and entertaining. Good work,, I would def see it again

I would have to say I enjoyed the movie. I feel that the it was almost rushed and was not able to capture the Intensity throughout as it was protrayed in the book. Despite the shortened scenes, I will be going again while it is still in theaters and would recomend it to a friend. I think they schould have made the movie longer having as much detail as possible.

I have all four books and probably read them over 25 times each. The movie was way off from the book and jumped around a little to much. New Moon the most they did was cut off a lot but the movie was still by the book and added a little more with the fighting scene. This was, things were being said the wrong way, parts that were never there were there, a lot was changing compared to the book. BUT if i have never read the book i probably would've loved it, it was indeed a good movie and had you at the edge of your seat at all times. So if you dont know the book by heart, go see it, but if you do know the book by heart i suggest maybe waiting until it comes out of DVD.

I really enjoyed this movie. Unlike the first movie, I was impressed how closely the film followed the novel. I also enjoyed the minor characters getting more screen time, and their back-stories being revealed. The wolves were a MAJOR improvement! Every time they came on screen during "New Moon" I cringed. In Eclipse, however, the wolves were much more believable and were utilized better. I agree with those who feel there was too much kissing. The movie overall was much more intense in mood, and most of the shots of the characters were shown in extreme close-up. This meant all those smooches were a little uncomfortable. Overall a great movie and fun experience!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse which had a midnight showing on Tuesday with extra time slots after the midnight showing was what gave this movie any saving grace in addition to all of the hype that had been involved.
The movie left me wondering if the director just needed some scenes to fill up the movie. Understood that giving some background info is necessary, but not when its gradually drawing viewers away from the plot. I thought some jokes were too awkward and did not need to be added.
The action scenes were not as much as I expected being the last of the trilogy. All in all, Twilight Saga: Eclipse left me on an average note. Due to the hype, I would still recommend the movie but avid twilight fans should not be expecting so much from it.
