I tried not to compare the movie to the book, I went in wanting to take in the movie as its own way of telling the story. I did think it conveyed alot of the story in the book, but just with choppy details. Bella and Edward seemed smothery. Movie overplayed Edwards jealousy, made it seem more odd than out of love, Edward and Bella seemed detatched, like they WERE acting.The entire movie felt choppy, with no flow. A person who has not read the book would have been lost, feeling like scenes were left out. Felt like they added scenes to plug info in that was necessary, but just not fluid with movie. Some one who hasnt read the books needs to watch these movies before they come out to ensure that its movie quality and not just "scenes from the book" Which is what this movie felt like to me.

I think the movie was pretty great. There was a lot of back stories going on in the book and a lot of dialouge. They managed to fit bits and pieces of everything from the book into one movie. I can totally understand why they would break Breaking Dawn into two movies. The wolves like the last movies and were great and Taylor aka has major comedic timing. It was funny, heartwarming and fully of action. My least favorite part however was Victoria (Howard) I think the old Victoria (RAchelle) would have added more to the part than (Howard) did. Overall the movies was delicously good.

It was really good. I was disappointed that they changed so much from the book to the movie but its also understandable that they had to cut some and edit others to fit everything that everyone wanted into a two hour span. The fighting was intense, though hard to follow at some points. Of course the guys all looked good (Especially the wolves who never tend to wear shirts) but overall a good movie. Some of the scenes were creative and you could tell when they took lines directly from the book.

It was the best Twilight movie so far. The action is better, it's funnier, and it's so much more entertaining. There were parts where it was a little slow but I completely forgot about them later in the movie. I will be going to see this movie several times, buying it on DVD, and recommending it to several people. GO SEE IT! You won't be disappointed.

Was very glad to be at the midnight show. It is an experience! The movie was good. The plot moved along well. The actors were better. Overall a solid delivery. Pattinson looked more comfortable in Edward's skin this time, more relaxed and it played better. And he looked damn good doing it. Taylor was good as well, you can see his acting improve film to film, and I was glad he turned 18 cause he was smoking hot in several scenes. Even Stewart was less annoying in this one. Beautifully shot and I think the CG worked. Only 2 or 3 anti-book comments, but not enough to ruin the effect. And Rosenberg got in a couple of great lines of her own. I recommend it was Twilighters and even a regular crowd.

At first I was like should I stay up til midnight to see this?(I GOTTA WORK IN THE MORNING) By the time it was over I felt that i wouldve kicked myself had i not been one of the first in line! Actors do a WONDERFUL job staying true to the "feel" of the characters in the books! Part 3 was WAAAAY better than the last two!! All my fav parts were in the movie and thats what i'd feared. Hands down this was the BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR for me...and i have seen HUNDREDS!!

Another fun and exciting Twilight Saga movie. I love the fun and excitement around it and love seeing my daughter so excited. The movie had some really funny parts; discussions between Edward and Jacob, that made it even a bit funny at times. I love the casting for this movie and thought that Bella even had some funny comments this time. Super fun, super exciting, and just all around a good time.

This movie i think is the best so far and i can't wait for the last two movies. Rob and taylor were really good in this movie. there were a couple of things that need some wor like when bella punched jacob she needs to work on her scream, so it is more beleiveable.

I had very high expectations for this movie because it is my favorite book in the series. It totally lived up to all my expectations!! It was brilliantly made and the acting was SO much better than in Twilight and New Moon. Go Kristen for steppin it up!! :D It was just SO enjoyable to watch from start to finish. David Slade, I applaud you!! GREAT GREAT GREAT MOVIE!!! Seeing it again in IMAX on Friday! Can't wait....already want to own it and watch it over and over again :)

While you won't be seeing this movie on the Academy Awards list, it is a huge step in the right direction for the series. The dialogue seems less forced than in the previous two movies, and while the acting does still leave a bit to be desired, the movie seems to flow much easier. The humor in the movie finally is starting to match that of the books, and the action scenes are quite exciting. Fans of the books/movies will love this movie, much like they've supported the previous two, but even the casual fan, or significant others of the women that will undoubtedly flock to this film, will be able to find something they like about this go 'round.

I was really disappointed with the first two movies. I'm a huge Twilight fan, so I do own them both but neither of the first two showed the true passion and connection between Bella and Edward like this movie did! It still could have been better. There are small details that are always forgotten but can make a huge difference. For example, Bella's reaction to Edward every time he touches her; in the book it is a much more severe reaction that leaves her breathless. Those kinds of things can make a really big difference in the way that the story is portrayed!

This was my favorite Twilight movie so far! I def feel like they are getting better with experience and money. I was really disappointed when I first saw Twilight after reading the books- but New Moon and Eclipse do a much better job of following the books. I was pleased!

From someone who's read the books, I felt that the movie downplayed two MAJOR parts of the book. And why is it Bella never cries in the movies? Is Kristen Stewart incapable of tears?
Other than that... very accurate. It was entertaining heartfelt and funny.

I arrived at the theater at 6 p.m. (6 hours before the movie) and waited in a line formed downstairs!!!! It was crazy crowded!!! But at the end we ended up getting great sits and an amazing movie experience!!! BEST movie out of the Twilight Series!!! Definitely!!!!

Eclipse is the best movie by far in the Twilight Saga. Summit did a great job of making sure that no important scenes were left out which is crucial for any hardcore fan, but there was plenty of humor, romance, and action to please anyone who pays to see it. The only issue I had was that the majority of the film was done in close ups. I love Edward just as much as the next person, but do we really need to hold the camera two inches from his face the whole time? Overall, I enjoyed the film immensely and I'm looking forward to owning it on DVD.

Bravo!! I was so thrilled to see how closely this 3rd film in the Saga followed the book, which pleased me, since stayed up past 3am to see it. I'm at work this morning going on an Eclipse-Adrenaline and coffee rush. It had all the funny experiences and awkwardness of a girl coming of age, trying to find the balance between keeping others around her happy and pleasing herself. Also LOTS of action and Jacob-without-a-shirt scenes. Yummy.

Very exciting for any twihard fans anticipating this movie. There should be little to be disappointed with. The storyline focused on the book as it should have. The flashback stories were an additional treat, giving a look at how they become who they are. Enjoyed the romance, and action, and am looking forward to finishing the saga with the final two films.

In short, the movie was incredible than the first two movies by far. Maybe even the best, we will have to see what Bill Condon comes up with. The trio are better than ever. Finally filling their roles and the content was just amazing. Very, very intense and my brothers loved as well too.

Glad that they didn't leave to much out from the book! Would have liked to have been a little slower seemed like the movie was rushed through. Overall a great movie!!!

Eclipse was excellent, and definitely the best of the three movies. The acting was better, the effects were phenomenal, and they kept to the original storyline pretty well. It was definitely worth staying up for the midnight showing even though I had work this morning!

This movie stayed true to the plot and essence of the book, I thought. There was no artistic licenses I thought this film took other than the fact that Bryce Dallas Howard was not in the first two films as Victoria. That was the only discrepancy I had with the film. That and the screaming teenage girls whenever Jacob showed up on the screen without his shirt on.

I have seen all of the movies and was VERY IMPRESSED with this movie. I hope this same director, directs Breaking Dawn.There was a perfect amount of humor mixed in with the dialogue. The movies just keep getting better and better! It follows the book amazingly which I think is why I like it so much. You MUST see this!!!
