Overall it was really good, the acting improved dramatically. And all the characters got deeper, and you got to find out more about there background, it followed the novel fairly well.

Eclipse was wonderful!!!! Very entertaining and really kept my attention, although I'm already a Twilight fanatic anyway! :D It was very true to the book and lots of action, I was very pleased with the movie, I do think it was the best so far and I cannot wait for Breaking Dawn!!! And yes I will be recommending it those who haven't gone to see it yet, and I plan to go back to see it myself as well! I loved it and I love Twilight Saga!!!!

I saw the movie at midnight for the sole purpose of making fun of it with my friends (Kristen Stewarts' complete lack of acting skill, Robert Pattinson's horrible make-up, etc.) I have to say, though, It was really good! The special effects were good, the dialogue got better, the back stories were excellent, and Kristen Stewart branched out and ACTED!!! Plus, Taylor Lautner alone was worth seeing the movie. With what material they had (admittedly not a great book), they did a really great job.

This was by far the best of the 3. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn. New director made all the difference. Loved the background stories on the Cullens. Worth the 5 hour wait in line. Already planning next screening!

Waited for 3 hours, got home at 3am! It was sooo worth it!!! Six of us went and were glued to the screen the WHOLE time! It was awesome... can't wait for the next one!! Going to see Eclipse again this weekend!! You can't just watch it ONCE... :+)

I thought the movie was awesome, incredible, the best movie ever. I went to the midnight premiere for New Moon but Eclipse was just way better. If you thought the book was good like me, then you are going to like the movie. If you are Team Edward like me, you are going to be happy.

This movie was definitely better than the first two films. They keep getting better! I might be a little biased though seeing as this is my favorite book in the series. They stuck to the book pretty well. There were a few important lines from the book that I believe should have been in the movie and they weren't. I also thought that this movie seemed to focus a lot on Bella and Jacob when it should've focused a little more on Bella and Edward. I highly recommend you go see this movie. The fight scene is awesome! Great movie!

The movies are getting better and better (the acting is still bad). There were good,funny parts and not every scene was Overly dramatic. Upsetting on the battle not being longer. But they did that with harry potter too so i guess what could i expect.

it was good, but it left out alot. the reason it was called "eclipse" is cuz jacob says "i can handle clouds what i cant handle is an eclipse" or somthing like that but they didnt put that in. and they didnt say what brees name is. but if i hadnt read the book i would think they didi a wonderful job. by the way fight scene was amazing.

This adaptation of the third book was well done. I really appreciated the director and screenwriters dedication to keeping true to the words and world that Stephanie Meyers created. This was easily the best one yet! There were a few things here or there that I wish could have made it in but all the key moments and emotions were there. You came away with a much better understanding of the relationships between Bella, Jacob and Edward, a desire to re-read the books and of course waiting for the next one!

I LOVE the series! But I can imagine it better in my head. I wish the acting was A LOT better. Lots of awkward moments. The characters are HOT and stuff, but they need to go to acting class or something.
I'll watch them anyways because the book was awesome and I wouldn't want to spoil it for myself just because they act poorly.
But lots of good action parts and a few boring parts.

Amazing I would go back and see this again, out of all of the books this movie stayed true to the storyline and had most of the orginal lines featured. This was the best of the Twilight Saga so far and I am ECSTATIC !!!

As a twilight mom who has read all of the books, I must say that this movie definately lived up to the expectations! The best movie so far in the saga. Although the movie still doesn't compare to the books - it does it's best to succeed in all of the major plot points. The tent scene is really well done as is (spoiler alert!) the leg-hitch scene and Edward's proposal. I can't wait to see it again!!!

I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga; books and movies. Eclipse definitely lived up to all the hype. I am more a fan of the books than the movies, but Eclipse definitely helped get me more invested in the movies again. Twilight and New Moon were decent films, not the best but still good. However, Eclipse blew them out of the water! The movie had a lot of similarities to the book and I was glad that they kept so close to it. The end fight scene with the wolves and vampires was excellent. I would have loved it if it were a little longer, but I was relatively pleased. The final fight scene between Edward and Victoria was good, again it would have been nice if it had been drawn out a little more. Overall it was worth the money and I am so glad I went to the midnight showing, I'm going again tonight! :)

True fans won't be disappointed. This is the best of them Yet. My only suggestion would be to read the "Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" if you haven't already. There are some scenes in the movie from that short story.
It stays true to the book this time following it more closely than the first 2 movies. All the important background made it in and they didn't sacrifice the storyline. Totally loved it! Can't wait to see it again and again...

I took my 14 year old daughter to see the movie. The midnight show was filled with teenage girls who swooned every time Edward or Jacob appeared on the screen. The line to get in was rediculous. It went completely around the outside of the theatre.
Lots of action and reasonably good special effects. I really liked the back stories on the characters. Sometimes the love story between Edward and Bella got a little sappy. But the teenage girls loved it.
A nice activity with my daughter.

Eclipse was my first midnight premier movie with a group of 6 friends. There is something to be said of OPENING night drama and excitement. The movie was great. Close enough to the book to get my thumbs up. I think they did a great job with the graphics and score again. They can NEVER match the imagination that goes on in a woman's head. I have had my own casting since the moment I read the books. I read all 4 books in 5 days and was an instant book addict. Eclipse has GREAT scenery, and decent plot line. I like the way they compacted the entire book. They made nice choices in what to cut for the most part. I wish Jacob's line about not being able to fight with an eclipse was in the film, The actors have all improved in the quality of their work too. Went to see it again today at 11am. 2 times in 24 hours, and yes, i would go see it again. to escape reality and allow myself to dream a great dream of not fitting in being the best quality a girl can have. <3

Eclipse wasn't as good as Twilight but it was definitely better than New Moon. I really liked the flashbacks to the Cullens' pasts!! Plus Riley was really hot and entertaining! It was basically true to the book too. I liked it a lot. Def worth waiting in line to see it at midnight!! :]
