David Slade was perfect for this movie. I thought the acting had drastically improved from the first two movies. Taylor did much better, his lines were less cheesy and of course was as hot as ever. It was obvious that Bella was maturing and although I read the book it has been awhile, but the major events from the book were definitely in the movie.

i loved it! it was better then new moon thats for sure.. but what i very much mostly loved was that as a reader if you have read these books is that it kept pretty much to the book! it was great! also even though they replaced victoria it was great i actuall went to the movie a little sad because of the replacement but i came out very much impressed david slade did a wonderful job on a eclispe!!

I have to admitt but for the other two movies they didnt even compare to the book, but this movie was right with it. It was not cheesy like the other two were made. i dont know whether the actors are just more confident, have more chemistry, or it was the director but I think they have finally found a winning combination!!!!!!

We went to the midnight showing & waited 4 hours to see it. It was so worth the wait. We were not disappointed at all. Usually with sequals they are never as good as the first.....not in the Twilight Series. In my opinion they get better and better. I also like how the same actors/actresses (except for 1 in this movie) continue to be in the sequels. Lots of action, love and even some funny parts that make you laugh. We loved it and we will see it at least 2 more times in the theater. Already looking forward to the next one.

I was very pleased with this movie. The best of the series so far!! There is always going to be a little differences from the book! I recommend reading the books because you can fill in what is missing, which wasn't much missing! You can only put so much in a movie!! The director did great. I love Edward, but it was nice seeing more of Jasper!!!! I think they made a great decision with Breaking Dawn in 2 Movies!!

This is the best Twilight movie yet, no matter if your a "Team Edward" or a "Team Jacob" you will find this movie both entertaining, and just non-stop excitement! The movie depicts the book extremely well, and is able to bring the book to a new level of enjoyment! Not only is it a good movie to see with your friends, but also to see with a boyfriend/girlfriend!

I love the Twilight stories. The movies are following the books pretty well. I did have some appearance hang ups with this one: Bella's hair looks too wiggy and her eye brows were over done & Edwards bushy eyebrows were taking over his face and he's lost the coppery look to his hair. But I hate to say I will never go to a midnite show again. The audience was over excited and would yell and be very loud. So you end up missing a lot of movie vocal. I can't wait till Eclipse comes to Blue Ray so I can hear everything I missed.

As a die hard Twilight fan it is hard for me to say that I left dissapointed with New Moon. I went in with less expectations with Eclipse, fingers crossed. Eclipse is by far the best of the saga. Perfect A+. Please David Slade, do Breaking Dawn!!!!!!

Once again, well directed and full of the expected drama. Love the action and more interaction with the vampires and wolves. Newborn army was well represented too. Poor Bree! Volturi, wolves, Cullens, humans all living in one area. What more can you ask for? There is definately a lot of shirtless Jacob and Edward for all to see. Personally, I love Emmit. Can't wait for the next movie.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great Eclipse was after not being overly impressed with New Moon. Loved the kiss between Jacob and Bella! They really pulled it off! There are so many more great things I'd like to say but I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it yet.

Eclipse had it all: humor, romance, action, satisfaction for those who have read the books! Great performances across the board...love what was added in regards to Renee's graduation gift to Bella...nice touch as was Charlie speech to Bella about not leaving him. Love the intimacy and fun of the relationship between Jasper and Alice, as well as what an honest dad Charlie is..I love Charlie! Back stories of Rosalie (so sad) and Jasper as well as how the werewolves came to Forks - Brillant and helps anyone who doesn't know the mytholgy of the books. Fight scenes are exciting...just a great, fun night at the movies!

I must admit to being worried about the changes in the script from the book and, while they did peeve me a bit, they did not detract from the overall wonderfullness of the movie. The costumes/wigs were so much better than they've been in the past and the scenery was beautiful. Billy Burke absolutely stole every scene he was in and the humor this movie included was a nice offset to all the drama!

First of all, I'm a HUGE fan of the books and the movies. I understand there are time and budget limits to movies, and therefore, not everything in the books can be brought to the screen. I left the theater last night kind of disappointed. There were important quotes, I felt, left out of the movie, Rosalie's story was told at the wrong time and where was Bella's guilt scene over kissing Jacob before the fight scene? The fight scene however was awesome, with the special effects and the actors and actresses did an awesome job! It had me on the edge of my seat at times, and I believe that my husband will like this movie, even though he's not a Twilight Saga fan. David Slade brought the most he could to the screen and as a fan, I appreciate his hard work! Thank you for bringing all Twilight fans'characters to life on the big screen!

This movie sucked! I loved all the action and and drama but it ended in basically the same place as the 2nd one. What was all the hype for? Hmm, still not a wolf, not a vampire, not married.... same as before. Oh a big 1 min fight and she graduates. JUNK! Waste of money. Maybe worth a 1 dollar rental but dont waste your movie night out on this.

This movie is much better than New Moon (which I was disappointed with). The acting was improved. It had some good humor in it. The suspense was a little lacking compared to the way it was in book. Overall though I was very entertained and can't wait for the Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2!

Like many, I lined up to watch the midnight showing last night and it was so worth it. The action was thrilling and the acting was a lot better than the last two movies. It was also great to have more screen time for the rest of the Cullens. I'm ready to see it again!

given that they had so much material to cover in a short amount of time, they did a spectacular job. I am seeing constant improvement. I wish they had covered a little more of the legends in the council meeting, but that was easily balanced by the fact that they DID cover Rosalie and Jasper's histories. They stayed true to the book, and made a great movie. How could you not be happy with it?
