I love the Twilight books and the movies. Eclipse was better then Twilight and New Moon and I am really looking forward to seeing Breaking Dawn. Anytime a twighlight movie comes out that is me and my bestfriends date night and it is really worth it.

First of all, I'm not a teenager, but I really did think it was a great movie. It followed the book well, but I would read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, because some of the movie comes from that book, too.

All I can say is WOW! Every scene left you on the edge of your seat! From the action scenes to the Love scenes, It is definately a movie I would recommend everyone seeing. It definately had me wanting to watch it again and again! I would definately watch this movie again!!

This addition to the twilight series was amazingly good. Most people assume sequels will be boring and never compare to the first, however, in the twilight series they seem to be "outdoing" themselves in each sequel. This one in particular they drew much attention to the jealousy between Edward & Jacob, always fighting over Bela. The extensive shirtless action & intense plot will keep anyone, any age on the edge of their seat! A must see, again & again!

I enjoyed 'Eclipse' very much. I loved the way it used more of the dialogue from the books - however abbreviated. Personally, I think there should have been less of both fight/chase sequences and more of the real dialogue from the book. However, I have to say that it was closer than the other two movies to the book and I did enjoy that aspect of it a lot. It definitely captured the essence of the book. It's really a very good movie - and I'm not a teenager ;-).

My husband, 16 yr old and I all lliked this next chapter of the Twilight movies. We have not read the books, but that doesn't seem to matter. The fight scenes were amazing!! Definitely left us wanting more - we'll be very ready for the next movie release.

The first film in the series is still the best. This film could have done with about 20 minutes less of the mushy reptitive dialogue. I thought the fact that Taylor Lautner is a bad actor would get better as he got older and matured in this role. I was wrong. He is a pretty face, just a pretty face. The other two main characters are very well acted in their roles. A lot of the secondary supporting cast and dialogue between them is disjointed and awkward. Overall, entertaining and worth the price of admission.

Many of you folks have read the books and I know you are disappointed when comparing the movies to the books. I never heard of the books and purchase the 1st two movies on DVD. This is the 1st of the series that the wife and I actually saw at a theater. I think it was a good sound movie that clear follows the other two in the telling of this story. We were caught up in it and taken away in the movie and thankfully not cluttered by memories of a book at this point. I would recommend this movie to any person who has not read any of the books as a pretty darn good movie. If you read the books I know you will find fault and flaws in the story line.

After enjoying the first parts of the Saga I wonder why the eclipse wasn't more than what it was. I did not care for the Eclipse at all and if there are going to be a continuous of the Saga I hope it isn't as boring as Eclipse.

Had I not read all the Twilight Saga books, I would have said this is an awesome movie, and worth watching again and again. And it is! However, it could have been better had they not deviated from the book so much. They took away Edward's strength and self-control and gave it to Bella. They have Edward losing his temper, which doesn't happen. And getting into trouble in the end and needing to be rescued again by Bella (again, which didn't happen in the book). And Bella running to Jacob after he gets hurt, when in reality her mind had shut down and she fainted (again, her weakness that they took away). They also made much more of the struggle of Edward vs Jacob, which isn't there as much in the book, because she's always adamant with "I know who I can't live without". They also showed the wolves and Cullens fighting together in the field, instead of in two separate locations. I think they also lost an opportunity to use some perfect one liners from the book, such as Jasper's comment on Alice after the fight training.
I will watch the movie again, and buy it for my collection. It was well done, awesome graphics, etc. I just wish they had stuck closer to the true storyline.

I thought this movies was amazing. Each character was so much more believable starting with their appearance. I watched this movie and kept thinking how great each character looked. I also felt each of the characters were able to really know their characters so much more in depth. There were no strange moments - - - - it was more natural. I look forward to the next movie....... definitely worth seeing.

I was immensely impressed with this movie. It is my favorite so far of all the Twilight Saga movies!!! Many of the scenes were how I pictured them (more or less) when reading the book, the actors did a wonderful job conveying the emotion of what was happening, and the fight scene was wonderfully done!!! I highly recommend seeing this movie, then buying it the first chance you get once it is released on DVD!!

I have watched 1, 2 and 3 of these movies. One I still say is the best, but the 3rd one had a lot more play between the cast and I'm for sure a team Jacob now, which is strange since I have been a vampire nut forever. Very good movie would see again.

The book wasn't my favorite so I didn't have high hopes for the movie but I was pleasantly surprised...overall I thought the story translated better on film. Strong performances by the supporting cast made this a good film. It's too bad though that Kristen Stewart hasn't gotten any better at portraying Bella. Taylor Lautner & Robert Pattinson had better on screen chemistry than Stewart did with either of them. Maybe by the next movie this will change...I won't hold my breath. Still I enjoyed it.

The movie was filled with humor action and the ultimate fight for Bella's heart. I also agree that this is the movie that's closest and more alike to the book (that's if you go in with an open mind). Overall, let's just say it was so good that I saw it twice on the first week that it came out in theaters.
