This move sucked! Over gruesome! The plot was horrible! It would of been an OK movie if it ended it a certain spot, but oh no, they had to give a terrible twist at the end! Don't even waste your time or money. Not even on DVD would I recommend to watch this movie. I will never get my wasted life of 1 hour and 51 minutes back. I hope the actor's got base pay for this (even that would be too much).

I went into the theater not know what to expect. My hope was that it wasn't as grisly as Ninja, a very gruesome movie with gratuitous gore. I thought the use of gore in the film was fine, nothing I had to turn away from, and I was able to enjoy the movie. I thought it was well written, well acted and one of the best sci-fi movies I've seen recently.

How many people where tasered, slashed, shot, or otherwise murdered in this movie? Hundreds. And all done in a slick "beautiful" way. If you think that's entertaining by all means spend the 10 bucks to see what i thought was the most worthless, obscene nihilistic movie I have ever consented to see. It will steal your humanity. And don't let anyone tell you there is a moral to the story. It is just a sick view that humanity is rotten and evil to the core. What is rotten and evil is this movie.

First of all let's start with what this movie is not. It's not happy, it's not pretty, it's not subtle. Its an over the top gory thrill ride for a character who has no respect for life. Jude Law takes on a dark role and delivers. This has the look and feel of Blade Runner with the sarcasm of Robocop. The story takes place in a future where the medical establishment only cares about profit-sound familiar? The acting is good and the action is great. While the social commentary is a bit obvious, this is one movie I just keep thinking about.

AWESOME movie. People just cant tolerate unhappy endings; which is what made this movie so good. :) It is definitely hard to stomach for those of us who cringe at the sight of inflicted physical pain; however, WELL worth the cringing. One of the first movies Ive ACTUALLY ENJOYED watching since I caught the first "SAW" movie in theatres. The soundtrack is awesome, super sick ending :)and Jude Law is as SEXY as ever ... ; D What more could you want! WATCH IT!!!!!!!

Its tough to agree with any review here that gives more than one star to this movie. This movie is by far a boring and irritating movie I have seen in a while.
Jude and Forest are great actors. But sadly everything is in vain. I could not find anything interesting in this movie, poor dialogs, disappointing story telling, not even the action is all that great.
Another surprise, there is absolutely no logic. The movie happens in a magic land where there is no law or government. C’mon this is not a comedy movie!!
The only thing this movie does contain is blood; lots and lots of dark fake blood. I have seen lots of movies covered in blood, but still with good story and direction to back it up. But this one has nothing.
I saw several people couldn’t tolerate and leave the movie in half.
I won’t recommend it, not even for free Tuesday. In my opinion its not even worth for ‘on demand or dvd in future.

You can leave this movie for the wide screen at home if you want. While it was good, we found too much of the story boring. While it was action packed they would then bring you to a screeching halt; not well done enough to get away with that. I did like it overall, though my partner on the other hand, said he didn't care for it at all. Give it a shot if you want, I would guess you'll like it.

If you are going to write a review and give the ending away in the very first line of your review have the decency to really, I mean really alert people to the fact that you are doing this. One small word "Spoiler" typed in is not enough. I am sorry but you should make it a little clearer than that. Honestly the moderaters should have never let the review through that I ended up reading just before I saw the movie so I must thank them for allowing my movie to be spoiled. I understand I should be aware of this which I am but my god give us a little more than a quite little spoiler alert. OK, I feel better. Now I bet they don't post my review.

The darkest movie I have seen in a long time. Don't get me wrong, I love biting & hard hitting satire, but this was darkness without a point, the director is a bully waiting around the corner to steal your lunch money. Beware! After you remove the polish of seasoned actors and the shiney special effects, an unrepetant thug's tale is all you have left, and it's poorly told as well. I am mostly upset that the full extent of this movie's dark depths was lost on the people around me.

I thought this movie started a little slow, but quickly picked up the pace. I gave it 4 stars, as usually the 'bad' guy doesn t win, even if he does change sides. Overall it was pretty fast moving, and the acting was great. I'd recommend my friends to see it.

Repo Men is a fun movie with a surprising plot twist at the end, reminiscent of classic Twilight Zone episodes. Law and Whitaker pull off such a great partnership in the story, with a great bully-buddy back story that bonds them even through the crazy events during the film's progression. Kudos for Miguel Sapochnik for successfully envisioning Garcia and Leners script of a crazy but not too far off premise of medical repo men. I can see this reality show on cable now! If you're a fan of Jude Law and love a good irreverent action/Sci-Fi comedy, then Repo Men is definitely one you won't want to miss.

Was it an award winning movie? No. Was I entertained? Yes. Wouldnt watch it over and over again but trust me I have seen much worse films. Such as Legions, THAT was a waste of good talent and beautiful faces. This took Law and Whitaker out of their usual context and led with an interesting plot. The twist at the end was too Vanilla Sky for me, but with the way the story led you were expecting something to be not what it seemed. Not to mention Law and Whitaker have never looked so good. Ill take beefed up Jude Law and slimmed down Forest Whitaker any day.

After all this movie was described as "Genres: Comedy, Science Fiction/Fantasy, Thriller and Adaptation". It was all of the above. I thought this was a good change for Liev Shrieber as he convincingly portrayed a sarcastic and hard nose corporate mogul. Forrest Whitaker and Jude Law were both edgy and ruthlessly skilled repo men. The only part that made me cringe was when Remy and Beth performed their own self reclaiming of their artificial body parts. I did not see the plot twist at the end coming!

Despite game performances from its leads this movie fails on so many levels that it reminds of a made-for-foreign-sales-cash straight-to-video title.
The direction was weak at best, the plot twists (including the final twist) were telegraphed so poorly that I knew the ending by the end of the first act.
The final climax was a gory love scene that had members of the audience laughing at its ridiculousness as Law and Braga erotically carve holes in each others skins and probe their internal organs with a phallic instrument while kissing passionately. Ew.
Forest Whittaker, who I last saw in "The Last King of Scotland", saw his considerable acting talents wasted here. The screenplay dialogue not lending itself to anything more than context.
Really bad.

It's a shame that the writer and director of this film were unable to create a more focused story for these top-knotch actors to execute a better film. "Wow" Let's pray that the world that is shown in the "Repo Men" never comes to light in our time. Image if you will a furturistic world where when one of your organs fails for what ever reason you can get a replacement immediately, but it will cost you. It will cost you a ridiculous amount of money, but not to worry, you would be setup with a payment plan. Miss more then 3 payments and the "Repo Men" will find you and surgically remove the planted organ. A strange accident causes Jude Law's character (Whom by the way is a Repo Man) to need an artifical heart. The story unfolds from there. Way too Bloody, Violent and Grisly!!!

It's worth the ticket price for Forest Whitaker, whose performance is better than the movie itself.
That said, Repo Men is not a bad flick. I saw all the plot twists coming a mile away, but it was still fun getting there, and in addition to Whitaker's fantastic performance, Jude Law and Liev Shrieber are very good too.
The action sequence at the end is a bit TOO cartoony and over the top, compared to the sequences that came before... but without giving it away it turns out there was a reason for that.
There's one gut-busting laugh out loud bit involving a medical procedure that ALMOST seems out of place... but only almost.
All in all, not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon with a bucket of buttery popcorn, perhaps giving some new business to The Union.

Repo Men is definitely not a blockbuster, but it surely is a good flick. I don't regret spending my money on the ticket. I has a good story line, good acting, and it had me laughing quite a few times, even tho it wasn't a "comedy" film. It has a nice twist at the end too;)
I always enjoy going to the movies, especially when I feel like winding down. This movie is definitely a good way to spend 2 hours.

I went to this movie looking forward to seeing it. I knew it was supposed to be gorry. It was gorry but nothing horrible about that. The acting was good I think Forrest and Jude are both great actors. I think the story was a good idea i just think is was poorly written. I generally like movies in this category I just think the way they wrote Jude Law's charechter was rediculous. I read all the reviews good and bad I figured most of the bad were probably just people who shouldnt be seeing a movie like this (its not really thier type). I was really disapointed and upset with my self for spending the money on this movie when there are so many better ones out there. Wait for this one on DVD if you really want to see it because its not worth the cost of the tickets.

My husband and I went to see ths movie, thought I would surprise him since he loves Operation Repo on TruTV. I hadn't seen any reviews and we didn't know what to expect. Well, we walked out an hour into the movie - this movie was horrible - I actually fell asleep twice thinking he was enjoying it and didn't want to cut him short of the movie. Turns out, he was just as ready to go as I was. I wouldn't even rent this movie.

Great concept for a story and great acting! The first 45 minutes is grisly, but there's a strong enough story to support the imagest. Enjoyed it very much!
