Sensational. One of most intellectually challenging while completely captivating and entertaining films my alleged mind can remember. The photography, special effects, acting were all consistent with great film. My wife and I both want to see it again to clarify those sequences which were so fast paced and complexed. One should not try to 'over think' the details, just flow with the plot and watch for nuances, but do not let it prevent you from enjoying the intensity. DiCaprio continues to broaden the distance between himself and other contemporaries. He physically aging well, while the maturity of his craft continues to outpace his years.

My wife, & I, don't go to movies much, as we are quite satistisfied with our cable offerings, but we take in a movie as a special night out, or date, with each other.
Inception , per my wife, who's a deadly critic, is the best movie that we've seen in many months. She stayed TOTALLY ingrossed during the whole film.
We would recomend this film to anyone, from teens to seniors. The action, hitchcock type plot, and superb cinematography, is well worth every $$, and your time.

I have recommended this movie to everyone I know. I loved it. I have seen it for the 2nd time now this past weekend. I tell everyone that when they watch the movie they have to pay attention to everything, so no bathroom breaks or text messaging. it is a movie that you have to pay attention to, to know what’s going on not to figure out what is going on. I wasn't sure what to expect going into the movie but I have to say it exceeded all of my expectations. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys action, suspense and doesn't mind not using the restroom during the movie. I think if I had missed one minute of the movie I would have been a little confused in certain parts.

I would say that the characters in this were more interesting and nuanced than in most summer blockbusters. It's got a loud soundtrack in parts, if that bothers you, and you should be prepared to pay pretty close attention to the complicated nested plots (or see it more than once)

The movie theme is interesting, the different layers of dreaming and the idea of controling someone subconscious are intriguing. Loved the dreaming scenes and the creation of a world within a world that has no boundries. Leo is the best and so are the rest of the cast. I had a tiny feeling of deja-vu of another out of the box movie - the matrix. the only thing is that although the movie explores very interesting themes, it leaves you with a lot of loose ends, but maybe i was just dreaming?

When it comes down to it, this movie is essentially a new take on The Matrix. It's highly entertaining, and I'm sure there are details I'd watch more closely for if I saw it again. But at the end of the day, it easily could have been edited down to 2 hours or less, a couple of characters could easily have been left out, and I felt like the writer dumbed down the story - I really didn't need the Leo character to spell out every nuance of the Inception theory - and it made for some pretty pedestrian dialogue.
Rumors of sequels abound, and I'll likely go see them.

Inception" starts off to be a really cool wild ride with 007 type action but soon goes down hill. The movie makes audience think a little to hard and it puts a stop to enjoying the film. By the end of the film you felt like you were just put through Christopher Nolan's version of 'The Matrix' and you were in a dream within a dream (that sentence above already, I'm sure makes your mind twist). This is not Christopher Nolan's best film. Lets hope that the 'Untitled Batman Project' (at least that is what they are calling it at the moment) will be better. This is a good movie to see when you are bored and have nothing else to do. What it will do is make your mind think. B-

I enjoyed the movie very much. There was good dialog, special effects and enough twists to keep you thinking.
The only knock on the movie is how the 'good guys' avoid getting hit by mulitple machine gun fire while they can hit a 'bad' guy with a handgun from a couple hundred feet away!

I think it was a well-thought movie. The idea was very interesting. There are some parts that are funny (can be silly) but I think it is a good balance. I liked all the casts, too. While I was watching, it made me think what the real world was, which I thought because I was also being able to go into the story.

I think inception was a really good movie that some people wouldn't quite grasp. It actually gets you thinking and wondering "what if?". It had a great concept which I enjoyed. I love movies that get people to use their heads and concentrate a little. The ending had me a bit upset but at the same time I cound't agree more why not get the viewers on edge. Inception passes the standards in my books!!!

Wow, what a waste of my birthday time! I spent over 21/2 hours on my birthday watching this crap. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way but am amazed that we are in the minority. My mom and I were actually laughing hysterically when they started "floating" in the air! I said to my mom, "And I didn't think it could get any worse!" I really like Leo, and so does she, but this is one of the worst movies I've seen. What are these other people seeing??? Do yourself a favor and wait for the DVD, if you really find it necessary to watch at all!

I've got to say that three of us went to this, and all three of us were terribly disappointed. I was expecting the movie to prompt compelling discussion about the ground-breaking ideas that it presents; nope, the only discussion that it has prompted is about how disappointed we all are. The movie is well-done, but it is being hyped as presenting incredible new ideas about dreams and reality--well, the ideas are only new if you don't read and you don't think.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I loved the movie. The idea and escution both are exceptional. It was a little confusing in initial 10 - 15 mintues ( I can blame it on the 3 calls I got at that time) but when you settle in the movie it's an experience.
Go for it. You won't regret.

I really loved this movie. I can see how it could be confusing for some, but if you have the ability to think and process quickly (like gamers can) and are open minded and interested in dreams and psychology, then its definitely worth seeing. An original idea is always worthwhile and people who are bored with formula movies and traditional formats will be challenged. Christopher Nolan never disappoints. I look forward to a second viewing to see what little details I missed first time around. Fun!
