Too long by about thirty minutes. Pare the action scenes down. The explanation of the concept was too convoluted. It is a fanciful concept, so why waste time trying to convice people it is somehow quasi scientific? It would be better to simply state the concept of sharing dreams as the basic paradigm of the movie then move on to the plot. And the "is it or isn't it" ending seems more a function of lack of imagination on the part of the director than creativity. A whorthwhile movie to see once. Skip the IMAX, but buy the DVD when it comes out.

Very creative, very cool. Makes you think. You leave the theater wondering if you are in a dream. While the beginning is totally confusing, don't worry if you don't think "you get it" then it will all be explained. Christopher Nolan is brilliant. The "gravity-less" scene is one I won't forget. and Leonardo DiCaprio is awesome - I love him more with each movie he does!

I enjoyed this movie. It kept me going and every story, every scene was full of information for the next scene. The characters were unique and the people picked out for the roles was different and unexpected yet completely awesome at the same time. To, me it gave a huge idea and opened doors to more thoughts on dreams and what goes on in the mind. It also has extremely wonderful visions and a very whimsical style of writing. Chris Nolans is amazing! This film gets an A+

I would have to admit that after the first 30 minutes, I was confused. You'll really need to pay attention to the details about dreaming. The LAST 30-45 minutes lead me gasping to see what was going to happen. I liked the ending which was contradict of what I thought it would be. My 13 year old thought it dragged in the middle but really liked the movie in general. We plan on seeing this movie again as soon as it is out on DVD.

When a movie is two and a half hours long and at the end you think, "Where did the time go?" Then you know that's a good film. Inception is a mind bending insight into the genius that is Christopher Nolan and his visual display of a script that most would deem " un- filmable". He creates a world that we can all relate to by tapping into our closest stream of subconscious- The Dream World, and convincing the viewer that what would rationally seem inconceivable, is not only conceivable but will one day level as a norm. This is a second-rate, poorly written movie masquerading as a high concept film. There is little to no character development, the script follows a Q&A format almost from beginning to end, and at some point you just have to ask why you should care. Fun off the wall film! A little si-fi and a little James Bond. Visual effects were wonderful and innovative. Don't get up to get snack's during the film or you will have missed the entire stoy line.

Inception. What is that? What is it about? I think these were so many of the questions that I was asking as I went to watch it on opening day. I was smacked across the face, and de-pants in the best of ways as I realised I was watching a masterpiece of enormous proportions in the world of cinematography and film. Christopher Nolan has to be one of the most talented and detailed directors in Hollywood right now, and whereas 'The Dark Knight' was seen as such a wonderful production, Nolan has somehow surpassed himself. I think what makes it so good, is that 'Inception' is an entirely original storyline and idea. Nolan himself wrote and directed and cast DiCaprio, Page, and Gordon-Levitt in roles that were perfect. Go see it. It's worth every penny and every minute of your time.

One of the my top 5 movies of all time. Writing, acting, and special effects all 5 stars which is rare for any movie. If you're not quick minded or slow to absorb detail or information at a fast moving pace from time to time in the movie, then you will feel lost once in a while but if you just keep watching and concentration, it all becomes clear again.
