I went and saw the movie because my facebook wall was exploding with unsolicited, positive reviews... and .. it was WELL WORTH THE HYPE! Great movie, anything said would ruin the story. Go early (couldn't get seats on the 3rd weekend), and get great seats not too far back. See it in the IMAX if you can. The acting is good, the story has lots of little nooks and crannies, and they all come together quite well at the end. Suspend disbelief, keep an open mind, and enjoy the movie.

A little slow to get going, but once you sort of figured out the landscape it took off.
The story was amazing and 2:28 mins flew by. Good for everyone 12 and up. Little tykes under 10 wouldn't get it.

This movie is so well done. The story is excellent and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire movie. Most movies you figure out what is going on or what's going to happen 1/2 way through the movie. This movie you are never quite sure how its going to end. DiCaprio impress me as finally being a very good actor. First Shutter Island than this. This is a movie that must be seen twice to fully understand it. I got confused on who's dream I was watching. The cliff hanger ending..... I guess there will be a sequel. Let's hope. My wife and my self and my grandaughter were spell bound during the movie, the house was packed and a pin drop could be heard. I was disappointed in the plot. I felt it was a combination of the Matrix, Dreamscape and another movie. I thought the acting was fabulous and the special effects well done. I very much liked this film -- definitely exceeded my expectations. I was concerned at the outset that it was going to be impossible to follow, however, they filmakers did an excellent job of pulling together the disparate threads of the dream sequences while building suspense and delaying the "a ha!" moment to very late in the film.
I also appreciate the somewhat ambiguous ending of the film...it was consistent with the overall tone of the film and leaves you with a lot to contemplate as you exit the theater.

I don't normally see this kind of a film, and after seeing it I could understand why.
After a while, it was, like...who cares? The plot spins in on itself over and over again, becomes more impossible to follow, and you find yourself staring at the actors wondering how they got involved with this film.
....Like...Ellen Page..from "Juno"? and Marion Cotillard...from "La Vie En Rose"??? (To make sure we get the inside joke about "La Vie En Rose" being played to wake up the characters from their dreams..it's played over and over again. Yes, we get it, we get it)
Compare them being caught in this film, vs. Annette Bening and Julianne Moore in "The Kids Are All Right"..a marvelous complex adult film - with no boom boom guns being shot at you over and over and over again.
The special effects get repetitive and...once again...who cares - it's all done on computers and green screens.
This film pays for the actor's homes in Malibu, and all of their other expenses...You come away feeling drained and used, watching an overblown multi-million dollar spectacle in a country that is going broke.

I had not intended to see this film. However, at the urging of a friend, I decided to give it a try. As I had low expectations, I opted to go during the "cheap" ticket show early on Saturday.
Not only was I not disappointed, I actually REALLY enjoyed Inception. I would even pay full price to see it again.
