The movie was great. The Chenal IMAX is a horrible theater that steals your money. I bought tickets on line with a one time account because I do not want anyone to steal the real credit card number. I got to the theater and told them and the cashier said I would not be charged for the webtickets. So I bought 4 more tickets. Now this stupid buy tickets on line company says too bad. I paid $98.00 for 4 movie tickets. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

I went into this movie with some high expectations since a lot of people were praising the movie. I was surprised by the amount of people who caught the latest show on a work night. I had the next day off so it was no big deal.
The concept of the movie is complex but it is awsome. There were a lot of different scenes that represented different layers of the dream. I was able to follow the whole thing to the end and I do admit, it was very very exciting. The drama and the things at stake kept me on the edge of my seat. If one thing goes wrong, that's it, the whole thing is over.
DiCaprio deserves an Oscar in my opinion. He did an excellent job and it's amazing to see how he's matured as an actor taking on such a complex role. All the supporting cast did an excellent job. I would watch this movie again. I highly recommend it. Oscar worthy!

Inception is one of those fast-paced movies where you literally hit the ground running. And it's by no mistake that director Christopher Nolan throws you into the surreal world without any indicatication of how you or his protagonist got there. If you have an analytical mind, this movie will certainly test your staying power. Not only were the special effects amazing, clues as to the ultimate question (was the entire movie a dream?), are abound! From the music, to the close up shot of his ringer finger at the very beginning, nothing but nothing was done without some sort of calculation or clue as to the ultimate answer. This movie has me and many of my friends scouring the internet for possible interpretations and developing our own theories. So, dear moviegoer, keep your eyes and ears peeled and be prepared to do a little post-movie analysis to bring some sort of closure to your reeling mind. Don't be surprised if you find yourself waiting in line again with repeat moviegoes ...I just might be one of them.

This is simply another great movie by one of the best writer/directors out there. Definitely go see this. It's not the easiest movie to follow, at first, but like Memento the farther the movie and plot advance everything becomes clear. The only criticism is that some of the characters' backgrounds lack the necessary development, however this does not take away from the overall quality of the movie. If you haven't seen it yet definitely go because there is no reason it should not be up for best picture of 2010. It's a million times better than that movie with the tall smurfs that came out last December. What was that called again?

Ignore all the negative reviews or ppl saying they couldn't follow it. If you have any common sense at all and you don't get up to go to the bathroom or what not and you are following the film closely you will understand the concepts. I was glued to the movie the whole entire time. The ending is remarkable and I left the theater deep in thought. If you are into movies that mess with your mind and make you think then this one is for you. I'm still thinking about it right now actually. I wonder how close to reality these concepts can be.

I really dont understand all the raving reviews for this movie. When I first saw the commercials I knew it didnt look too great and I decided not to see it but a week later I saw all the wonderful reviews and thought it must have been good. Well I should have stayed with my first mind. The movie was so stupid. The sentimental crap made up almost the entire movie! I am an action buff and if you are too then this ain't the movie for you. They must have showed the same clip of his kids playing outside 30 times. After 20 minutes I was so bored I wanted to leave and if I didnt have other people with me ( who also didnt care for the movie) I would have.

When you have no plot, add layers of confusion until the whole experience is so baffling many people will think it is there fault they can't figure it out. At its core, this is an "Avatar" does the "Matrix" with dream consciousness transporting characters to an alternate reality. But half way through you realize the Emperor has no clothes. Best thing in the whole affair is an indistructable van that can be hit by automatic weapons, trains and concrete barriers without being destroyed. This movie is a pretentious joke, but the joke is on the audience.

After being disappointed by the Last Airbender, this movie was definitely a blast. I have to say the director is a mad genius and the story is fantastic and very innovative. Some say it is somewhat like the Matrix, believe me, Inception is so much more complicated and deeper than the Matrix. If I were the director, I would be offended if someone compares it to the Matrix.
Also, honestly the only reason I think some people might not like it is because they did not understand the movie. And also, please don't bring your 5 year old to the movie. They would be asking "what is going on" the whole time.

I thought this movie was really good. There is so much hype about it, and generally speaking, when that kind of chatter gets around, the movie loses some of it's appeal. I don't think that was the case for this movie. It is definitely one of the best movies I've seen this year, but with no disrespect to Inception, that doesn't really say much. Most people have said that the movie is extremely confusing, but I did not find this to be the case. Everything is explained in it's own unique way, and with good detail. Leonardo DiCaprio is outstanding as always. His look is Patrick Batemanesque, but he is anything but. Ellen Page I generally find to be obnoxious, but she is balanced out enough in the movie to avoid annoyance. The rest of the supporting actors in the movie are extremely impressive. They work together beautifully. Even though this is definitely a movie that 80 percent of people are just not going to connect with, they should have some reference as there are many moments that reminded me of the movie The Matrix. The movie asks the question, "What is real?" The answer may surprise you.

It was an interesting concept, but hard to follow. Well acted and special effects were cool. Worthy of a big screen experience...however, I didn't like the way they put the louder than normal, music score over the top of the dialog, it made it hard to understand some of the conversations and became annoying (for me at least). Also some strong accents made it hard to understand some conversations. It took at least 45 min before it really got going going and u could kind of follow it... I didn't like that very much. BUT...it should be seen on the big screen to do it justice...kind of like "2012" big screen justice.

Never has a simple wobble held so much hope. Admire editor for keeping layers of dreamland distinguishable. I never got too lost. The guilt for putting into his wife's head the idea that killed her is redeemed by his final argument not to leave the kids behind. He probably wanted to live together with her without the burden of kids too, but instead took the responsible choice. She abandoned both spouse and kids for a romantic dream.

Blown away. I knew the movie looked good but I had no idea. It was as refreshing a concept as when the first Matrix came out. Finally another completely original idea that leaves your mind questioning reality! Definitely worth the money. I see about 2 movies a year at the theater because I'm so cheap but I'm already considering going back to fill in the pieces in my mind. It's as deep as the Lost series but with more resolution. The end will kill you!

When I was about to see Inception, I expected an entertaing, above average sci-fi suspense thriller. But Inception reached above my expectations. I left the theatre with a round of appalause with my jaw dropped, with plenty of disscusion to express with my dad. My impression of this summer flick can be simply put as "bravo." It provided such an intelligently written script, a masterful plot, eye-popping effects, and a great cast. Inception is an A+.

When the movie started I thought it might complicated real quick and loose the audience, but the director did a great job of tying all the pieces together and the actors were fabulous.

This was a great film. It is a summer movie that actually has an original story, is thought provoking, suspenseful, fun, and includes good acting. There was never a moment where I lost interest in the film and it did not feel like I had been sitting in the theater for 2 and half hours. Great movie.

The plot of this movie looked interesting but the movie is somehow dissapointing. Many things said about dreaming are not real but the worst thing in my opinion is with dream content. In each one they were fighting (with all possible special effects and stunts) but I always wondered who they were fighting. It looks like a total lack of inspiration of screen writer who couldn't imagine anything for dreams so he placed all kind of fights with no relation to the movie. Probably some will be attracted by this kind of action, but to me was fruitless.

At first, it might not seem great, just confusing, but after a while and especially towards the end, it gets very suspenceful, and everything about this film will blow your mind, How does someone come up with an idea like this, Chris and Jonathan Nolan are geniuses!!!!!!!
