This movie was absolutely fantastic. The plot was well constructed and thought out. It was an emotional roller-coaster and thrill ride the whole way through.
The acting was superb which was absolutely crucial in this kind of movie.
It was an action-packed travel through the mind. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoyed movies such as the Matrix. As one friend remarked to me after the movie, "It did almost everything the Matrix tried to do but better."

The premise of the movie was good and mostly well executed.
However, the soundtrack ruined the entire "dreamtime" quality of the film. Perhaps it was just the theater we attended, but it was criminally loud and prevented the immersion into the story I was expecting.
I understand that there is an optimal volume for any particular film sequence, but the sound track was far past that and actually beyond the hard rock concerts I've attended. Ears are still ringing hours later. Even the dialogue was at a blasting loud volume. The blaring score foreshadowed everything.

A most interesting mind experiment on the movie audience held in the sensory deprivation chamber of the theater. When finally released my companions and I were left with the feeling of relief as if walking out of a nightmare. The effect lasts into the next day. This is a very long and complicated story with no clear ending. Fascinating visuals, well acted but not for everyone, especially those with short attention spans and those who prefer a movie with a story they can follow.

Leonardo did a great job in the movie. It was a little long and could have been streamlined a bit. I liked it and the action scenes were exciting. The director did a good job in those scenes. It is a movie that you need to follow especially to listen to what they are saying, and to hang on every word. If u don't like movies that make u think and draw u in then it may not be for you. I've watched this movie twice. It's really worth watching and the entire movie is up to interpretation.
I interpreted one way the first time and after coming out from the second time watching it, I came up with a different conclusion of the movie. You have to be on your feet during the whole movie to really see the connections between different scenes!

After first glancing the preview for this movie, I was not going to see it. The lush visuals and marketing caught my eye and I decided to go. I would be willing to bet that star ratings are directly proportional to the IQs of the reviewers in this one. If you have the brain power to keep up with the plot yet still be able to consider its deeper implications, you'll find this to be one of the most intellecually powerful action films to date. And if you consider the ideas that this film imbeds in our own minds, you nearly have to be in a dream-like state yourself to grasp it all. I still can't decide which was more interesting: the movie itself, or the conversation it evoked between my wife and me on the way home. Four thumbs up.

One of the best movies that I have seen in some time, and I watch a lot of movies. I love movies that I have to think about after I have seen it. I will probably have to go see it again, just to see if I caught everything.

This movie makes you think. If you don't want to think, stay away. Many of the scenes gave me the same feeling I had when I first saw The Matrix. That's a good thing. Visually this movie was stunning, and the cast was excellent. I need to watch it a few more times...

I go to the movies to be entertained. I like great acting, a well constructed plot, and lots of action.
I do not like to sit through a 2.5 hour movie where 75 % of the time I couldn't figure out what was going on. When I find my self doing a lot of mental gyrations just to figure out what is going on, it spell trouble. The action and special effects were ok, but overall the movie was too confusing, the premise too farfetched and I was either bored or confused throughout.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
