This movie was somewhat entertaining. I didn't want to leave the theater screaming, but it was REALLY overacted most of the way through. There were a few funny parts. There is ALOT of language in this movie. The villain in this movie was completely unbelievable. I think he was trying to look crazy, but he just looked ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this movie.

Chemistry between Willis and Morgan is top rate. Much room for sequels for this delightful team. Side characters also brillilant! Kevin Smith's direction and pacing are flawless. This puts Tracy Morgan into a new and, I hope, high class movie career that should have great legs. Five stars!!! (btw, our group spanned ages from 20's to 60's, and all are in agreement.)

II have a "Kevin Smith Reflex". Morgan is outrageous throughout the movie and Willis is able to play the straight man. Scott is a great addition;he takes Morgan's outrageousness to another level. Interaction between the three is a Smith mainstay in his movies and feels like a well orchestrated fugue. Lee plays his usual sarcastic character; a scene with Willis shows Smith's acumen with conversational timing. Pleasantly surprised at the number of genuine laughs and the chemistry between the main characters. The other cast move the movie along, but don't get in the way of what was a successful "buddy comedy"; the relationship between Willis and Morgan seemed real - much more so than the Rush Hour franchise.

This is a movie you watch for the comedic value, not a dramatic, believable storyline. Tracy wouldn't last 5 minutes as a law inforcement officer, but it's not MEANT to be realistic. It's meant to be FUNNY, and that it definitely does. If they took out all the F-bombs the movie would be 20 minutes shorter. Most definitely not a kids movie, thus the "R" rating. But, very funny in a 'laugh to yourself ' kind of way. Be sure to stay after the credits roll.

I don't understand some of the half hearted reviews of this movie. It was pure lighthearted action and entertainment, exactly what anyone who had seen the trailer(s) or other ads would have expected. There are 2 kinds of people who will have an opinion on this movie. Those who like Tracy Morgan, and those who don't. I actually fall somewhere in between, so I guess I'm the exception to the rule. This is not a great movie, but it was certainly entertaining. The plot's a bit thin, and there are a few points that drag, but the film generally moves along and keeps you engaged. pros: mullti-dimensional character development of the leads, humorous. cons - morgan is frequently unintelligible and his schtick gets old, gaping holes in plot lead to common-sense incredulity (be willing to go with it, or you will be disappointed). fave moment: opening bit, morgan is acting like various movie characters, does a line from one of the die hard movies, and deadpan Willis says he doesn't recognize it. ha! sum - if you want a laugh, go see it.

What a disappointment. I love Bruce Willis and think Tracy Morgan is a good comedian, but Tracy Morgan is not an actor and many of his lines were unintelligible. The movie was funny enough and would have been without the gratuitous profanity, especially that used by a ten year old. It was unnecessary and off putting. And what was with all the slobbering. Within the first five minutes I was already contemplating walking out. It was complete rubbish. Foul language, poor story lines, pathetic characters. Broken story threads. Unworthy of Bruce Willis. Hudson Hawk all over again.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I saw the movie on the opening nite witha friend and returned that Saturday and saw it again with my boyfriend. I thought the movie was good, hilarious. I didnt really care for the very begining when Tracy was acting out all the movie clips I thought that part ran a little long but overall it was good. I love Brucce Willis and Tracy is such a funny comedian. I wouldnt suggest parents to take their kids to see it because there were alot of things done and said that were not kid appropriate.
