This was a great flick! Especially if you are a NASA geek like me. A few of my friends and I went to Florida for the launch of STS-125 so it was great to re-live the experience. The 3D detail was amazing.
If I were to have one negative comment...it'd be that the movie was entirely too short. More, more, more please.

Wonderful film! Great photography. Too short for my likes but great length for kids. The release time is not exactly good. Kids are going back to school now. Too late for a summer vacation viewing and too early for a school field trip. There were only 4 people in the theater! Producers should rethink that for future films. I loved being able to see a NASA-related 3D IMAX film without going to a museum or vacation destination. Thanks!

This movie was visually stunning and showed how much work went into repairing the telescope. My only regret was the length of the movie but it opened my eyes to the wonder of the universe and the great contribution of NASA. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in the vast solar system.

Don’t miss this film; it was engaging. The clarity and depth and color of the photography in this film very well may have been the cleanest and sharpest 3-D offering I have ever seen. Of significant note to me were the scenes of the training pool, the shuttle liftoff, the crew inside the space shuttle as it was in orbit and the crew working to effect repairs on the Hubble with the earth as a backdrop. I found those scenes real and very life-like; they were truly outstanding technical photographic shots and they were the right component parts of the story to show and tell. Hats off to Leonardo DiCaprio for his narration, for telling us the story of what it took to launch the Hubble telescope and then service it while in orbit around the earth, and to offer dialogue concerning the sprinkling of fabulous-quality Hubble Telescope space photographs throughout the film. I can’t wait for the next film…

Hubble 3-D is amazing and beautiful. Frankly, I would like to seen a little less of the astronauts themselves, and more of the spectacular images the Hubble has captured in its life. Still, it tells a great story, and it will be a shame when the time comes to shut down and de-orbit this magnificent instrument!

Highly recommended. Makes you appreciate again and again the WONDER of Earth's existence - and the wonder of whether there are other life-supporting planets. We here on our 'blue marble' are SO tiny - yet we seek to explore the heavens - hoping to find other life forms and seeking to understand how we all came to be.
Excellent that this film was shown in our local AMC Imax theatre. School students 4th grade and above should have this as definite viewing. What's not to like!?

This movie helps the viewer experience in a creative way the impossibly large and distant features of our universe. While it expands our understanding of those phenomena, it also shows the beauty and fragility of our tiny earth as a background to the story of Hubble and the scientists, astronauts, and missions that have kept it going. Shows well what it really takes to pursue important scientific knowledge.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

If someone rated this movie less then five stars, this is not a wise person. I have only wish for this movie to be three times longer. If you love high tech and astronomy, you will double enjoy this movie. If you are a proud American, it will double your pride for your people from wonderful narrator if this story until the hard working janitor from NASA; proud for genius people who made the Hubble work and for people who gift us such a wonderful documentary. This is a Master piece.

This short 3-D IMAX feature was simply amazing. It made me feel like I was right there with the astronauts in space. The pictures taken with the Hubble telescope are truly out of this world in beauty.

Jaw dropping -- that's what. Several times throughout the movie my teen and I had in-your-seat-nudge matches because of the scientific and miraculous discoveries and renderings of space on the GINORMOUS 90-foot IMAX screen with booming sound.
Although the NASA astronauts were in very risky and precarious situations, they kept their sense of humor and awe. This movie confirmed for me & teen that there's no way that we can be the only forms of life in the universe -- it's too grand and beautifuly crafted.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
