This is one of the best movies I have ever seen; the animation was unreal. Most movies have spots that kind of lose the audience or get a little dull; this one did not have those spots at all. I went with four other adults and five children ages 4-11; everyone loved the movie. If you have ever had the opportunity to go to Epcot and ride Soarin', that is what this film reminded me of. Because of how in the movie the audience feels, I can see where some kids might get a little scared during a few scenes. I do personally recommend that anyone with tendencies for tention headaches or migraines take something before going; part way through, my head started hurting and when I got home, I had a full-blown migraine (because of the 3D effect). That said, I would do it all over again...the movie was just that good!

i absolutely loved this movie and i am definitely seeing it again! Toothless is so fluid and the whole movie is enjoyable. ACM prices, however, are intense...very expensive. The movie is worth it in 3D on the imax however for the first time. I think you could do without for the other times you see it, although it wouldn't be the same.

I go to the movies every week.. a serious moviegoer, but kinda upset that they added another 2 bucks to the 3D pricing starting this week! what the heck?
Was planning to go see this in 3D, but for my kid in 2D its 7.75, but for IMAX 3D it's 14.75. for Real 3D it's 12.75 So for anyone that has seen it, is the 3D worth the extra 5 bucks or almost DOUBLE for IMAX 3D?
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I saw the premiere of this movie on Sunday, Mar 20th. It was at the Gibson amphitheater at Universal Studios in L.A. They showed it on a screen bigger than IMAX and they had their own mixing console for sound. The 3D rendering was superb as well as the special effects. The story line was excellent. I highly recommend it and I'm 56. Take the kids and grandma.
