Most of the the positive reviews reflect my opinion of the movie, but why can't Hollywood get off the anti-american bias? This fil obviously tried to imply the US is imperialistic...destroying foreign lands and cultures, not to mention needless killing. Enough already...make your films in the new countruy you move to .... PLEASE.

Definately worth waiting in line for! Good story, fantastic visuals. See it in IMAX or at least 3D. One of the most beautiful, visual movies ever. We will be going to see it at least one more time. You hate it when it is over and want more even though it was 2 hours and 40 minutes!

think "Last Samurai" meets "Matrix" with some "Lord of the Rings" thrown in. The vision and delivery of this stellar movie went beyond my expectations. I was engrossed for the entire length and was only disappointed when it ended and I had to return to reality. Best things about the movie: the story, the acting, the action, the special effects, and the message. This is a movie that should be talked about.

Go see it in IMAX 3D. You will not be disappointed. I plan on going and seeing it again in IMAX 3D! (at the very least, Real3D).

This has to be one of the Best Movies of the Decade. The Visual Effects were phenomenal and the actors displayed alot of passion. This movie is/can be controversial but that is what makes it so wonderful. They underlying message is that we humans don't always know what is best. The messages is clear, we should be more in tune with what is going on around us and see how we all can make a difference. If we just stopped for a brief moment and learned from our ancestors of being one with nature. That there is a balance to life, and if pushed to far the balance can be undone and everything can fall apart.

Excellent imagination by the creator and bringing that imagination into the sets so beautifully for which my highest appreciations to James Cameron, for the best movie made so far. It has surpassed the imagination of Jurassic Park. The Lavish set up makes you say WOW! all the time. 3D effects makes you feel it like a 2Hrs : 40 min journey into the Fabulous World of Pandora created by James Cameron. Even without 3D effects it is still great to watch . But 3D makes it all the more great. You will miss something awesome if you don’t see this movie. So go and watch it in theaters!!.

This movie has the best graphic you could ever dream of seeing in a movie and to top it off it's in 3D! The story line is impressive and the action scenes are believable. This is definitely a must see preferably in IMAX 3D. Be warned about the uncomfortable 3D glasses and the movie is a bit on the long side.

This is by far the best movie in a very long time. DEFINITELY spend the extra money on the IMAX 3D, it is a much crisper and more vivid viewing than the RealD 3D and not even comparable to the regular version. I have gone twice already and plan on going at least 2 more times!

DO NOT let this movie leave the theatre without you!! And the only way to watch it is in IMAX 3D!!! It is worth the extra ticket price. The scenes were so vivid and beautiful. I want to be an Avatar when I grow up!
