Other than the 15 minutes trying to get the projector to work. This was a great experence. The movie explored interesting ideas of nature vs human progress. The conflict of man vs man and the war of wills. But really this movie is the best 3D movie I have ever seen. Mind blowing graphics and visual art. The way the effects drew you into to the movie. After a while you didn't really notice, but then something would happen and you just say "{WOW"}.

I've seen this movie's trailer when I went to see 2012. I thought that it will be an interesting and well done movie to see on IMAX.
What I didn't know by then is that Avatar will steal my heart!
I LOVE this movie, it's probably the best movie I've ever seen - and I see movies everyday.
You have to experience this movie for yourself. Words are not enough to describe its beauty and the way it makes you feel. You will be transported to a dreamworld, that by the end of the movie you will not want to leave!

Avatar is easily one of the best movies I've seen in a long time! The pace of the story was perfect. In spite of its unusually long running time, it never *felt* long. Both SciFi enthusiasts and Action lovers will enjoy the movie.
Our family was fortunate enough to see it in 3D at the IMAX. The movie was clearly made for 3D viewing and the immensity of the IMAX was mind-blowing!

Great movie. Awesome visuals, good story. Keeps you interested the whole time.... No slow arts to get bored with... Took our 5yr old to see it, even he enjoyed the entire move. Definitely one of very few movies I want to see again IN THE THEATER, not going to wait for the DVD.

I was pleasantly surprised my the movie as I was really just going to see if for the special effects but the movie itself was actually good also. The plot is not deep but the movie is very entertaining. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Couldn't appreciate the movie or the technology behind the movie, although I know that it was years worth of hard work and research, because of the 3-D (goggles). It gave me a headache within first 30 minutes. Wish the movie was in IMAX & no 3-D. James Cameron probably wanted to show his creation (Pandora) to audience in 3-D and I totally appreciate the grandness of planet Pandora. I also kept saying myself to take little bit of inconvenience, but it was just too much.

This movie was fantastic if only viewed for the special effects and 3D Imax experience. The main storyline was even reasonably good.
Unfortunately, modern directors and screen writers feel the need to place their political views into the very heart of their work. I can understand a simple, small comment slipping through on occasion as we are all subject to such weaknesses. This movie, however, was 100% all about the modern liberal agenda. Everything from the plants are alive to we are destroying our planet to America was stolen from the Indians (please take no offense if you are an American Indian). There's even the great part about the traitor Marine becoming a hero!

Very exciting to watch in IMAX 3D. 2D would not be the same. Before this movie, I was hoping the 3D movies were just a phase. After, I can see that they are here to stay. Even though this movie was incredibly long, at no point did I find myself thinking, is it over yet? I would recommend seeing this movie to anyone. I cannot wait to see it again... in 3D of course.

I don't say it's the best movie I've ever seen but it's up there. It's well worth going to see in IMAX 3D. It's not a new theme, mind you; as my wife pointed, out it's basically Ferngully set on a different planet and targeting adults. Very well done and lots of fun to watch.

Age old storyline with new twist on film making. Easy to follow but I wish they cut out the gratuitous language. Definitely wouldn't change the tone of the movie and would allow a much bigger audience to see it.

Took my son and husband to this and we all thought it was one of the best visual movie experiences we can remember. The plot was engaging, lots of excitement, and the CG and 3D effects went beyond even my very high expectations.

This has to be the best movie I have ever seen...I am 40+ and saw the movie on IMAX 3D. Purchased tickets online and had no issue or wait getting into the movie on Christmas Day. The story, cinematics and 3D experience were incredible. I recommend only seeing the movie this way. Wonderful movie.

By far the best 2+ hour movie i've seen. I could've watched it again as soon as it was over. The 3D movies have come so far in the last couple of years. The special effects and storyline blended together to make a truly outstanding entertainment experience. James Cameron is one of my favorite directors after this.
