This film was excellent. Could have done without some the language and sexuality in the robots and animals, but a great film for anyone over 16. This is NOT a 4pm cartoon, there is enough explosions violence, death and anger to destroy a small country! I know they all need a break, but we are ready for number 3 Mr Bay!

I saw this movie last night at midnight and the 1st thing i realized was that it was PACKED with action!...this movie had far more action than the first, which was nice for all of the action fans.
The only thing that was hindered and why i took away 1 star was because the story line was a tad bit lacking in some areas, less than the 1st movie.
I personally still liked the 1st movie better for the story line and plot, but for power and "out-of-this-world" action scenes- this movie definitely took the cake!
I would definitely recommend you go see this movie- and if you can- SEE IT IN IMAX...it will change your life

This movie was a dream come true. From beginning to end, you were at the edge of your seat. The IMAX experience just added to the greatness of this movie. Right when it ended I told my friend that this movie deserves to be seen in IMAX; it shouldn't be playing in normal theaters. It's a movie that you never wanted to end. It was funny and sad, serious then goofy. Fight scenes were impeccable. OK lets just say this...when the movie ended, I almost cried it was so wonderful.

People don't go see comic book movies, video game movies, or Transformers movies to see top notch cinema, they go to get their socks blown off by the special effects, the laughs, and the overall enjoyment of the movie. I saw the midnight showing, was asleep by 3:15am and left the house by 6:30 for work meetings. I'd do it all over again...it was totally worth it.

Okay, so I love Michael Bay and I loved the first Transformers, but I had my doubts about this movie. There had been so many failed sequels before that I wasn't keeping my hopes up. Revenge of the Fallen blew me away. High packed action, a decent plot and wow just everything about this movie was great. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie, so animated with reactions along with everyone else in the theater. The last movie that got me like that was the Dark Knight. As a sequel, it surpassed my expectations more than I thought possible. See this movie, you get my full recommendation and I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

Let me just start by saying the movie was good, not great. I don't know why but, I expected a little bit more from Michael Bay. I mean, it was good enough to leave me satisfied at the end it is just that I think the first one was a little bit better on the plot. Someone mentioned previously they swear but please let's not exagerate, it is only 3 time at the most. On the other hand, the score soundtrack is AWESOME!! I was actually tapping with my shoe when the autobots were coming out of the planes with the music. It was a lot similar to the first one but, with more action. Oh, one more thing, if the theather is full and if there is no seat, do yourself a favor don't seat at the front row because you can't watch anything from there

I did like this sequel to Transformers. To me, sadly, It was a little more animated and humorous than the first movie. The first movie almost made you believe the Transformers could be real someday, the sequel reminded you that they are fictional characters.. If you view the movie with an open mind and enjoy the special effects, you will like it. If you try to make believe that it should be true life, then you will be disappointed. It is still a super-hero, comic-book type and should be viewed like that.

I have to say it was worth the wait to see this movie. The action was great, along with the SFX, and there were not that many slow moments. If you're looking for a movie with great action, great special effects, awe-inspiring moments, non-stop heart pounding sound and images... then you NEED to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (and it's ssoooooo worth the extra money for IMAX!). So, don't hesitate and don't wait to hear from other people. Go see it for yourself. You'll laugh, you'll cheer, you'll have a great time. The 2 1/2 hrs wasn't too long and the way the movie was going I could have sat through another hour just to see more!
