I Loved the 1st movie, directing was superb and storyline dense and fluid, with some humor but never too over the top. Yet this sequel fails to live up to the first like Mummy 3 to Mummy 1. Too loud, sexist, fratbro-appeal, racist and tiring to watch. I felt nothing for sam, i rolled my eyes halfway through begging for a break from explosions. You don't even see too much of the Autobots!! Like a big meal,too much accompanied by the urge to vomit. YUCK.Bay's directing and toilet humor reminded me of bad Chuck Norris film. I appreciated some moments, but there were too many unnecessary ones I would have preferred to live without.

I was half expecting it to be bad considering all the bad reviews critics have given it, but I never believe what I read regarding movies, until I see it for myself. I believe they were wayyyy too harsh on it. The film in IMAX alone made the movie state of the art. Granted the clanging of the machines when they changed got a bit old, but the fight scenes, graphics, and humor was quite enjoyable. If I got the chance I believe I would see it again. It is one of the best movies this summer after Star Trek!! :-)

i loved it! the action was great! I really enjoyed the fact that the story line gave some insight to the previous generation of transformers. Great action, great plot...loved it. Did i mention the action? Gotta see it at IMAX.

You get what you expect and THEN SOME! Finally, Optimus kicks a s s, at one point, he takes on 3 robots by himself and OWNS them! I expected a lot from this sequel and it did not disappoint. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was excellent. I think all of the critics that gave it bad ratings should actually go see the movie before they rate it. The characters were amazing, the special effects were awesome. The whole movie just rocked; had you locked in from the beginning. Would not recommend for young kids. Language and content were definitely more adult, but again, excellent movie.

This didn't get good critical reviews and a lot of people had issues w/ the secondary Transformers as racial caricatures. Being of color I thought, for the most part, they were harmless. There is a point where the "twin" autobots say they can't read, and one of them has a gold tooth, both elements that should have been excluded from the film. But outside of a couple of off-putting scenes it's non-stop action, start to finish. Is it art or award-winning? No. But it doesn't purport to be. If you're going to see this, you're going to watch robots and more robots, and there are plenty of those. I think the lead actors do a good job overall. It is a little long and relentless but I was entertained and that's all I expected of it.

I'm a first gen fan of the Transformers. I grew up watching the cartoon and I have been waiting on this movie since the closing credits of the first one. Action wise, this movie didn't disappoint. I loved it. However, what keeps this movie from getting an excellent review from me is the excessive cussing and low brow humor. They just didn't need it in this movie. Most of us first gen fans are grown and into our 30's now. But we do have kids we want to introduce to something from our childhood and having my 10yr old son watch a Transformer dry hump a womans leg isn't something I want him to see. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of that.
One suggestion, if you are going to see this movie....you gotta see the IMAX version!!!

I went with a Meetup.com group called SoCal Movie Fanatics, the organizer "BustAGroove" got there early and we joined the group. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. There were a lot more fight scenes, tongue and cheek jokes, and heavy emphasis on hot scantily clad babes so this movie will appeal to a lot of guys. While the focus on these themes was almost too much, Transformers managed to refrain from ruining the movie and continued to provide a thoughtful, suspenseful plot sufficient enough to also entertain women!
I told the people next to me I was certain an "innocent" (LoL) person was a Decepticon an entire scene before her identity was revealed!

Bought the tickets for my husband as a Father's Day gift as he and our son LOVE Transformers. The movie exceeded our expectations. The graphics are great and the storyline kept you interested. Even the ending was good and didn't leave you upset like other 2nd's in a trilogy. I would very much recommend seeing this in the theatre!!

This movie was action packed, witty and overall a great experience.......saw on IMAX AND UNLESS YOU HAVE THE WAY BACK SEATS A LOT TO BE MISSED WITH THIS. THERE AN HOUR BEFORE MOVIE AND STILL HAD ROTTEN SEATS. Must to see twice. Children should be warned about language...it is PG 13 so parents are warned not kid appropriate. However I loved the humor just odd to hear optimus prime swear.

This movie is by far greater than the first! I love the action in this movie. I would highly recommned everyone to see it. I loved the twins, they were hilarious.

I saw this in IMAX- WOW, Amazing. The fighting scenes were phenomenal. Sam's mom was HILARIOUS!! It was alot of history storyline to follow, so I definitely will see it again to fully appreciate the story.

It was one of the best movies I have seen so far. I dont think they could have made it any better, had action, comedy, awesome sound and graphics. I enjoyed every minute.
