This movie ranks right up there with Dark Knight. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I will say, that it could have been shortened by about 30 minutes. You couldn't help but be entertained from beginning to end by all the transformations, explosions, and a pretty good storyline. I would caution anyone with really young ones to leave them at home as the movie is really loud!!! You have to see this movie on IMAX to get the full effect of all the action.

The scale and momentum of the affair is so artistic and visionary it sets the standard for years to come. The human characters are just humans, not that interesting, but also somehow intriguing to watch. If this movie was all about humans, it would be dark and legendary. Though the robots themselves are so alive and humanlike, the attentive eye will find the same empathy in bumblebees nesting syndrome, optimus compassion, starscreams cowardice, devastators dog like following, and megatrons indifference to our existence. As Tyrese says, if god made us in his image, who made him (optimus). Well.. We did! Using our imagination, but created in our image.

People need to stop overhyping this movie and say how fantastic it was. I was also one of the first to see it and enjoyed the special effects and all the action scenes. The movie even injected its usual funny humor.
However, the acting of course was not great and the storyline was really predictable (I won't give away any now, but I really want to).
Bottom line, worth seeing once, in IMAX of course, but not again.

Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen is a rock em sock em thrill ride and a very good summer escapist film. If you are going for heavy drama, don't bother with this one. I went and saw T:ROTF last night in IMAX and was simply blown away!!! Michael Bay has out done himself again!! It has it all and then some. I highly recommend seeing this film. I will definitely see it again in the theater soon! At 2 hours and 30 minutes it would seem to be long, but it sucks you in and doesn't let up until the credits roll, leaving you wanting more.

Does size matter??? Well I left this movie thinking... not really.
This movie should not be taken seriously... it's a pure escapist summer movie. The Transformers are bigger and there is a lot more action throughout. The movie is also funnier simply because the gags/jokes are more prominent throughout.
Seeing it in IMAX made the whole experience that much better & I think if I had watched it in a normal theater... I'd probably wait for the DVD for my second viewing. However, I'll watch it one more time in IMAX before the DVD drops.

Gotta hand it to them for special effects, although some CG was more obvious this time around. And when the fight scenes are so chaotic that you can't tell what's going on, what's the point? Other than looking nice (are you that desperate), what again was the point of Megan Fox being in the movie? Give her a role! This was a very good action popcorn movie. I have some issues with it but I did like it over all. With so many characters from the Transformers universe, why would create two annoying characters like Mudflap & Skids. Wasted opportinity there. There was a lot forced comedy that seemed out of place and how could you have my childhood favorite Sideswipe have so little screen time. Thank god for the hottness that is Megan Fox to save this.

"Best movie of the summer so far this 2009" It was none stop action from beginning to end it has you on the edge of your seat. Great movie!! Being unemployed it was the best way to spend $10.00 dollars. A therapist could not have done any better. It reinforced that faith, loyalty, compassion are true human traits and machines will always be lacking in the aspect. This is a definate go see action packed moive. Better than the first in my opinion. I hope they make a third. Seeing the movie on an IMAX Screen is worth paying 14.00 for. Especially with a movie like this one. Picture is clear as day with 12,000 watts of pure heart pounding sound coming from every direction. Well worth it.

Ok, first I will start with the blunt brutal honest truth. This movie sucks. There's no real content to this movie at all.... HOWEVER, the visual graphics, the IMAX audio, and Meagan Fox made up for this in triplicate. This is the best movie of the summer, I guarantee it...IF you like gratuitous female hotness, blowing stuff up, and cars that transform into warrior robots!!!!

This was a nonstop action packed, hysterical, dramatic, sad movie rolled up in one. It is going to be very difficult to top if and when there is a Part 3. This is not just a dude's movie either. IMAX experience just made it that much better.
