"Having been a transformers fan from the beginning i have loved the movies this one has all the action you could want and more and it was great in imax just wish they had spent a little more time on the story. they had a good line if they would have spent 5 minutes more on it the movie would have been the best movie ever. if all you care about is the action best movie ever, if you like a story to go with it well at least it is the same people."

"From a special effects perspective, it was a great production. The storyline is not bad but not great. From an entertainment perspective, the is a lot of non stop action. The only issue is that during the fight scenes between the transformers, it is very hard to tell who is who and the cuts where too frequent with too many closeups. Next time they should move back a bit. Also, the IMAX only make a difference depending on where you go. A big screen does not guarantee the IMAX experience."

"it was a lot of fun on the regular screen, but it was a blast on IMAX. wow! loved it, the action was A+ the story line A and the plot B.
but who cares about a plot, it was the most fun I had at the movies in years. LOVED IT :)
GO see it. If you are lucky enough to be near an IMAX that still shows it, go to the morning shows, well worth $11."

"This sequel, continued on track with the serious attitude from the old animation stories, with wonderful audio and visual effects. The back story with it's romantic quirks would not be a good reason to go and watch this, however, if you enjoy the effects and fast pace AA, this is a theater must see. The IMAX experience was very good for this type of movie, as I feel the larger screen, and richer sound work well to envelop you in the movie. There was a bit more language than the first movie, and in that, I would not necessarily recommend it to parents wanting to take their kids, with the expectation it will be devoid of this. Overall, this is worth it for a very entertaining flick."

"Is this movie better than Transformers? Almost.
Is this movie awesome? Yeah. There's plenty of BIG fights in this movie, so it easily surpasses that of Transformers.
So, is this movie Theater/IMAX worthy, or DVD/Blue-Ray worthy? Blue-Ray.
This was my first IMAX visit, and I thought Transformers 2 The IMAX Experience would be the perfect one to introduce me to it. However, if it had been in 3D it would have been a whole lot better. So, now I believe IMAX theaters go better with just about anything in 3D. It's just too expensive, and far away from home for me to think otherwise.
The IMAX Exp. did not add a whole lot of difference to the movie. That's why I can't give this presentation a perfect 5 out 5."

"If you are a guy who just loves to see giant robots destroy stuff you will love this. I say guy because this movie was definitely cater ed towards men in almost every way. You can count on plenty of sexy babe shots and hundreds of explosions. Don't expect much else though.
The story was pretty much about as good as a plot on a cartoon. The acting was average, the "funny" moments were goofy and the "romantic" moments were ridiculous.
I have to say, if you love special effects and want audiovisual overload, you should see this in Imax."

"I personally thought it was awesome. It was even better than the first one in a lot of ways since there were more noises (I love the noise they make when they transform and stuff) and explosions, and I love Bumblebee! I almost cried when Optimus died too.
My dad thought there was too much military action in it though. But I think it was great! And they definitely left it open for a third one.
The only thing I don't like is the final battle--it seemed too short and effortless."

"This movie has amazing special effects with an absolute stunning visual presentation. after growing up with the cartoon. It felt like Bay watched the Transformers animated movie and made his movie aroung the bare bones of its story. I have to admit that the only thing I really like was the homage to the original animated movie with Prime's front flip shot on Megatron. All in all this movie was visually stunning but utterly lacked any substance of story. Wait for the DVD."
