It was a great movie. The animation was fantastic. It had the constant humor for kids and adults. It snuck in some nice humor that the kids didn't quite understand, but the adults snickered at. It was funny, cute, amusing, it was just an overall good movie. I'm buying it when it comes to DVD!!

Going in to this movie, I was expecting it to be very mediocre. Most second sequels are, and how much more could they get out of this franchise. Well, my kids were laughing (ages 11, 7, 5) and so was I. Lots of suspense, one liners for the adults, and minimal violence for the kids. See it with the family and enjoy!

I took my 6 year old daughter to see the move on 7/1/09 @ 7 PM. I was extremely disappointed that the movie wasn't in 3D. I was looking forward to onscreen action with 3D. In any event, my daughter was extremely excited. Her eyes were glued to the screwed, she giggled many times and told me how great this was. The movie was appropriate for her age. Some of the jokes only adults would understand but overall the comedy was appropriate. I would recommend this movie.

This movie barely kept my 5 year-old daughter's attention and certainly didn't keep mine. The story, animation, and voice acting were acceptable but no better. When it comes to computer animation, there's Disney/Pixar and then a huge gap down to everybody else.

The kids (13 and 17) said they would give it this rating, and I agree. Plus, I think that's a better rating system. The plot was weak, but they've gotten weaker as the sequels have progressed. But Scrat, who is hysterical, made up for it.

I took my son who is 3 1/2 to see this last night, he absolutely loved it. He didnt move until the credits were over and wanted to stay and watch it again. I still love the Meltdown, but Dawn of the Dinosaurs was definitely exciting. There were some great parts for adults and some gross parts for the pre teens, and just laugh out loud parts for the little kids. Scrat was great and the new guy Buck was hilarious. My son kept his hands on his ears for most of the movie because the dinosaurs did get pretty loud, but when we left all he could talk about was when he could see it again!

I went with the whole family and a couple friends in college. The humor in the movie is not repetitive, and kept us laughing the whole time. The movie is so well written and directed, and the sound effects bring it to life unbelievably so- a scene with flying pterodactyls at first sound like birds but slowly they insert the sound of dive bombers from wwI. Anyway, this movie is hilarious and highly recommended.

I saw this movie with my 19,9,8,7 year olds we all loved it. It was comical and fresh. So many times with movies done again and again you have the same storing line dragging on, nothin new. Not so with Ice Age. Recommond this movie for everybody. Very Very Good. We did not see in 3-D

Predictable and boring, not even very funny. I took my 4-year-old daughter, who is accustomed to sitting through full-length animated movies, and we had to leave before it was over.
I could have gotten over the predictability of the story if it would have been actually funny.

Took my grandchildren to see this movie yesterday and everyone really enjoyed it - ages 14, 12, 11, 7 and old! A really good family movie - had its very funny moments, and action packed and tense moments and cute moments. Would highly recommend this as a good time for all! Everyone said they would love to see it again and will certainly get the DVD when it comes out
