This movie was so very cute. I took my six year old nephew to see it and he just loved it. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see it in 3-D, but he wasn't a bit disappointed. He even told me that he wants to get the DVD when it comes out.

I must admit that I had fairly low expectations going in, but Ice Age 3 is actually pretty good. It has a focused plot, well-paced action, and is just the right length at an hour and a half. It's just a short, simple, entertaining summer kids' movie--it doesn't overreach. The animation is great, and I was happy to note that the non-3D version that we saw didn't look like a 3D movie with the effect stripped out. Add in some laugh-out-loud moments and a few fun, quotable lines, and we have a winner. My 9 y.o. would love to see it again and would've rated it 5 stars.

I had only moderate expectations for a 3rd in series animated movie… I was wrong. The level and detail of animation was superb. The story line was true to the past movies and had twists and turns that kept all the kids (including this 44 yr old one) engaged. Overall a good movie with little a chase scene violence – but what is to be expected from dinosaurs? The young kids around us loved it.

Considering this was the third of the trilogy, it was amazingly good. The original characters were fabulous, and the new characters were incredible. We laughed so much during the entire movie, it was so much fun. I was afraid the commercials / trailers would give away all of the funny parts, but there are so many more... The CGI was pretty amazing too; they created different worlds that looked real (I won't mention what they were in case you haven't seen it). You don't necessarily have to have seen the previous two, but it helps. Definitely recommend seeing it.

Fun for the whole family. We really enjoyed the first two movies and this one was the best yet. More adult humor that kept us laughing and giggling through the entire movie. I still love the comedy relief squirrel.
