My husband, two girls (ages 16 and 12) and I saw this movie. It was great fun though not quite as wonderful as the first two movies. But Ellie has a little baby that was adorable and a new character named Buck is introduced so there's plenty to keep everyone involved. Perfect movie for everyone to see together... all ages!

This Ice Age installment sticks to the formula of the first two movies. It is a great family flick with tons of laughs and action that adults and children can enjoy. I recommend this movie to the casual movie goer. Otherwise, it can easily be a Netflix rental at a later date.

I nearly walked out before the adverts had finished as I realised that this movie would be totally inappropriate for my nearly 4 year old daughter. The adverts were for films for much older children and were actually quite scary from a 4 year olds perspective. I thought that the movie would be similar to the original and not that upsetting for little kids but due to the amazing animation, it was quite "realistic" for my daughter and quite scary in places.

While the movie's over all pacing and plot wasn't as good as the first, I was surprised that as a sequel it was still a well written movie. It had some very funny moments, though one or maybe two was in a "grey" area for kids I thought.
I laughed out loud a few times, and took a date to it-- no kids to use as an excuse. We both enjoyed it.

The movie starts out with Manny and Ellie having a baby. You'll get kinda bored, but once you meet Buck , you can bet you'll be laughing the rest of the movie. Buck is definitely the best character Ice Age will ever come up with. Ice Age 3 makes sure you'll wet your pants sometime during the movie.

This Ice Age story seemed to have more of a plot line than the last. It also had some very funny moments. My 5 year old enjoyed the movie although some of the large dinousaur scenes had him grabbing my arm. Finally giving Scrat a break proved to very entertaining, and as always, Sid stole the show with his adventures.

As always the "Ice Age" series gives an entertaining and enjoyable encounter. like most other attempts to regain the thunder of the original it reaches a bit but only in a couple of moments with the twists in the plot...this one recovers nicely from a couple of dull areas and the finish is funny and absolutely gratifying. It is worth buying the DVD when avvailable to watch over and over, I know I will.

I loved the movie. It was very entertaining. My 3 yr old grandon loved it and sat through the entire movie, not a peep.

The movie was boring and did not do a good job of telling a story all the way through. Some younger kids were afraid of some of the dinosaur scenes. My family was bored.
