I am an opera buff. For decades I've been hoping to see Don Carlos - it has some of Verdi's best music. I only just heard about the HD theatre performances of the La Scala performance of last December. I had already missed it in Campbell and in San Francisco, so had to drive 80 miles each way in the rain to see it in Napa. IT WAS WORTH IT. I would go again next week if it were possible.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
